    Abstract

    The water draining and collection system for monocoque vehicles applied with tonneau cover or similar object of present invention is aimed to solve the drawbacks described in the prior art through a water collection system for monocoque vehicles applied with tonneau cover or similar comprising a set of rails (10) and (20) of specific shape positioned on bed side and front faces between the plastic finishes (101) and (102) e bedliners (100) avoiding water intake and improving the draining system. This new embodiment applied in the water collection system allows an easy deployment and application in any bed monocoque vehicle model, efficiently solving the problem of water intake and assuring a better water draining.

    Claims

    1. WATER COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR MONOCOQUE VEHICLES APPLIED WITH TONNEAU COVER OU SIMILAR wherein it has a front rail (10) equipped with a flap (11) having cutouts (12) that make it possible to fix the rail (10) together with bedliner (100) so that the rail (10) when positioned is arranged below a plastic finish (101), which allows for the harvesting of water passing through junction between bedliner and pickup front finish and also water migrating from tonneau cover seal, said front rail (10) being equipped in its ends with drain tubes (13) which are fixed with the bedliner (100) for the proper drain out of the useful bed load area; the side rails (20) has a flap (21) having cutouts (22) and are fitted between bedliner (100) and side finishes (102), said rails (20) equipped in one of its ends with an outlet point (24) having a projection allowing the fit with the end of front rail (10) draining the water through hole located in the lower portion of projection (24) and draining out the bed through ducts (13); in the opposite end the rails (20) are equipped with a second outlet point draining water through the gap between tailgating and vehicle bed.

    2. WATER COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR MONOCOQUE VEHICLES APPLIED WITH TONNEAU COVER OR SIMILAR, according to claim 1, wherein the rail (10) has slightly elongated ends for fitting the side rails (20).

    3. WATER COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR MONOCOQUE VEHICLES APPLIED WITH TONNEAU COVER OR SIMILAR, according to claim 1, wherein the rails (20) are equipped with a slight tilt (23) from the higher portion for draining water to the inside of the rail (20).

    4. WATER COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR MONOCOQUE VEHICLES APPLIED WITH TONNEAU COVER OR SIMILAR, according to claim 1, wherein the rails (10) and (20) are equipped with a shape following the bed.

    5. WATER COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR MONOCOQUE VEHICLES APPLIED WITH TONNEAU COVER OR SIMILAR, according to claim 1, wherein the rails (10) and (20) enable the adjustment and adaptation as the type and shape of target vehicle.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

    [0044] The water collection and draining system for monocoque vehicles applied with tonneau cover or similar, object of the present invention, comprises a front rail (10) equipped with a flap (11) having cutouts (12) that allow the rail to be fixed (10) with the bedliner (100), so that the rail (10), when positioned, is arranged below the plastic finish (101), which allows water harvesting that passes through the junction between bedliner and the pickup front finish.
