Abstract
A finger protection structure includes a plurality of abutment blocks arranged on an adhesive surface of a base plate in a straight line, abutting against one another and defining a plurality of elastic deformation areas on the adhesive surface such that the finger protection structure is bendable forward, twisted and/or bendable in left-and right directions partially due to a flexibility constituted by presence of corner cut portions of the abutment blocks, the deformation areas on the adhesive surface of the base plate and flexibility of the base plate, thereby eliminating the problems resulted from a frontal and rotational lateral impact applied on the stressed surface of the base plate. The finger protection structure has simple structure, is ergonomically constructed and is capable of buffering and absorbing the frontal impact and rotating lateral impact, thereby minimizing injuries to the hands of the wearer of a protection hand glove.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0028] The accompanying drawings are included to provide a further understanding of the invention, and are incorporated in and constitute a part of this specification. The drawings illustrate embodiments of the invention and, together with the description, serve to explain the principles of the invention.
[0029] Referring to
[0030] Each base plate 10 is elongated, has a certain extent of flexibility, having an adhesive surface 11 and a stressed surface 12 opposite to the adhesive surface 11. In this embodiment, the base plate 10 is made from flexible materials.
[0031] The plurality of abutment blocks 20 are arranged on the adhesive surface 11 of the base plate 10 in a straight line and abutting against one another and concealing the adhesive surface. Each of the abutment blocks 20 has two opposite abutting sides, each of which is formed with two corner cut portions 21, the corner cut portions 21 between adjacent two of the abutment blocks 20 define an elastic deformation area 111 on the adhesive surface 11. Preferably, each corner cut portion 21 of a respective one of the abutment blocks 20 is a slanted face 211, which is inclined with respect to the base plate 10.
[0032] As best shown in
[0033] Referring again to
[0034] As stated above, the finger protection structure 100 of the present invention eliminates the prior art problem caused by the twisted and disengagement of the finger protection devices which are in form of elongated strips inserted in the protection hand glove. To be more specific, the finger protection structure 100 of the present invention has a simple structure, is ergonomically constructed and is capable of buffering and absorbing a frontal impact and rotating lateral impact, thereby minimizing the injuries caused to the fingers and palm (or hand) of the wearer of the protection hand glove 200.
[0035]
[0036] One aspect to note is that the slanted face 211 of the corner cut portion 21 in the above embodiments is not only be planar, but also can be designed as a concave surface or a convex surface.
[0037] Another aspect to note is that variation in the degree of the angle A may cause changing the surface area of the elastic deformation area 111. In other words, when a frontal and rotating lateral impact is applied on the finger protection structure 100 of the present invention, the twisting angle of the base plate 10 in the left and/or right direction may be different from one another.
[0038] The main feature of the present invention resides in that the finger protection structure 100 includes a plurality of abutment blocks 20 arranged on the adhesive surface 11 of the base plate 10 in a straight line and defining a plurality of elastic deformation areas 111 on the adhesive surface 11 such that the finger protection structure 100 is capable of bendable forward, twisted and/or bendable in left-and right directions partially.
[0039] The advantages provided by the finger protection structure 100 of the present invention are as follow:
[0040] Firstly, the finger protection structure 100 of the present invention eliminates the prior art problem caused by the twisted and disengagement of the finger protection devices which are in form of elongated strips inserted in the protection hand glove. To be more specific, the finger protection structure of the present invention has a simple structure, is ergonomically constructed and is capable of buffering and absorbing a frontal impact and rotating lateral impact, thereby minimizing the injuries caused to the fingers and palm (or hand) of the wearer of the protection hand glove.
[0041] Secondly, the finger protection structure 100 of the present invention provides the flexibility to the palm of the user hand and since a plurality of finger protection structures are used simultaneously, they interactively provide impact resisting force, thereby protecting the user's fingers and a back side of the wearer's hand.
[0042] Thirdly, when a plurality of base plates of the finger protection structures of the present invention are coupled with the fixing plate of the protection hand glove, the fingers 201 of the wearer are bendable limitedly in the backward direction in addition to the partially twisted directions and simultaneously buffer and absorb a frontal impact and the rotating lateral impact force.
[0043] Although the present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it is apparent to those skilled in the art that a variety of modifications and changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention which is intended to be defined by the appended claims.
