Abstract
A portable smoke filtering system has a central tube in a cylindrical configuration with a forward end and a rearward end. Male screw threads are formed in the forward end and the rearward end. An input tube in a cylindrical configuration has a forward end and a rearward end. The input tube has female screw threads. The forward end of the central tube is threadedly received in the rearward end of the input tube. A first filter has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The first filter is received in the input tube. Dryer sheets are provided in the central tube.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
(14) With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
(15) The present invention, the portable smoke filtering system 10 is comprised of a plurality of components. Such components in their broadest context include a central tube, an input tube, a first filter, and dryer sheets. Such components are individually configured and correlated with respect to each other so as to attain the desired objective.
(16) From a specific viewpoint, the present invention is a portable smoke filtering system 10 having a central tube 14 in a cylindrical configuration. The central tube has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The central tube has a forward end 16 and a rearward end 18. The central tube has a first length. Male screw threads 20 are formed in the forward end. Male screw threads 22 are formed in the rearward end.
(17) An input tube 26 in a cylindrical configuration is provided. The input tube has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The input tube has a forward end 28 and a rearward end 30. By the term cylindrical configuration it is not intended to limit the cross sectional configuration to a circle bur rather encompass any cross sectional configuration including ovals and rectangles and the like. The input tube has a second length. The second length is between 10 percent and 20 percent of the first length. The input tube has female screw threads 32 formed in the interior surface of the input tube. The forward end of the central tube is threadedly received in the rearward end of the input tube.
(18) An output tube 36 in a cylindrical configuration is provided next. The output tube has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The output tube has a forward end 38 and a rearward end 39. The output tube has a third length. The third length is equal to the second length. The output tube has female screw threads 40 formed in the interior surface. The rearward end of the central tube is threadedly received in the forward end of the output tube.
(19) Also provided is a first filter 44 held in position within the input tube. The first filter has an interior surface and an exterior surface. A first shoulder 45 contacts the first filter and secures the first filter between the first shoulder and the central tube. The first filter has a fourth length. The fourth length is between 20 percent and 30 percent of the second length.
(20) Further provided is a second filter 52 held in position within the input tube. The second filter has an interior surface and an exterior surface. A second shoulder 53 contacts the second filter and secures the second filter between the second shoulder and the central tube. The second filter has a fourth length. The fourth length is between 20 percent and 30 percent of the second length. The central tube and the input tube and the output tube are fabricated of a rigid material.
(21) Provided last are dryer sheets 60. The dryer sheets are positioned in the central tube. The dryer sheets have fabric strips with deodorant. In this manner a smoker desiring to mask afoul odor of smoke exhalant will blow smoke exhalant into the input tube and then through the first filter and then through the dryer sheets and then through the second filter. Further in this manner the output of the output cylinder will be devoid of a foul odor.

(23)
(24) Another alternate embodiment of the invention is illustrated in
(25) A final alternate embodiment of the invention is illustrated in
(26) As to the manner of usage and operation of the present invention, the same should be apparent from the above description. Accordingly, no further discussion relating to the manner of usage and operation will be provided.
(27) With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.
(28) Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention.
