Abstract

An aircraft capable of hovering is described, comprising a motor member; a rotor connected to the motor member; a transmission shaft rotatable around a first axis and adapted to drive the rotor; and a transmission interposed between the motor member and the rotor and comprising a planetary gear formed by a sun rotatable around a second axis; a crown that is angularly fixed; and two satellites meshing, each, with the crown and the sun, and rotatable around respective third axes, which are, in turn, rotatable around the second axis; and a satellite carrier rotatable around the second axis and comprising two first pins with respect to which the satellites are rotatable around the respective third axes; the transmission comprises an interface, angularly integral with the satellite carrier around the second axis and said transmission shaft around the first axis; the interface being coupled to said satellite carriers and the transmission shaft so as to allow an angular misalignment between the second axis and a portion of the interface.

Claims

1. Aircraft (1) capable of hovering, comprising: at least one motor member (10); at least one rotor (5) operatively connected to said motor member (10); at least one transmission shaft (11) rotatable around a first axis (B) and adapted to drive said rotor (5); and at least one transmission (9) interposed between said motor member (10) and said rotor (5); said transmission (9) comprising a planetary gear (21) formed by: a sun (15) rotatable around a second axis (D) with a first angular speed; a crown (17) angularly fixed with respect to said second axis (D) or rotatable around said second axis (D) with a second angular speed different from said first angular speed; at least two satellites (19) meshing, each, with said crown (17) and said sun (15), and being rotatable around respective said third axes (I), which are in turn rotatable around said second axis (D); and a satellite carrier (30) rotatable around said second axis (D) and comprising at least two first pins (32) with respect to which said satellites (19) are rotatable around respective said third axes (I); wherein said transmission (9) comprises: an interface (50) interposed between said satellite carrier (30) and said transmission shaft (11), angularly integral with said satellite carrier (30) around said second axis (D) and said transmission shaft (11) around said first axis (B); said interface (50) being coupled to said satellite carriers (30) and to said transmission shaft (11) so as to allow an angular misalignment between a portion (55) of said interface (50) and said second axis (B); said interface (50) being articulated on said satellite carrier (30), so that said portion (55) is tiltable with respect to said satellite carrier (30) around at least a fourth axis (F, G) orthogonal to said first and second axis (B, D); said portion (55) comprising a plurality of second elongated pins (55) that are parallel to respective fifth axes (H); and in that it comprises a plurality of ball joints (56) angularly integral with respective said second pins (55) around said first axis (B) and articulated on said satellite carrier (30), so as to allow said inclination of said interface (50) with respect to said satellite carrier (30) around said at least one fifth axis (F, G); said interface (50) comprising an annular body, coupled in a rotationally integral manner with said transmission shaft (11) and from which said second pins (55) project axially in a cantilevered manner; characterized in that said annular body comprises a plurality of angularly equally spaced, radially developed spokes (53); each second pin (55) projecting axially cantilevered from a relative said spoke (53); said annular body comprising: a first circumferential continuous and radially internal end edge (52); and a second circumferential continuous end edge (54), radially external and axially superimposed on said second pins (55); said spokes (53) extending radially between said first and second circumferential end edge (52, 54).

2. Aircraft according to claim 1, characterized in that each ball joint (56) comprises: a first element (60) defining a first spherical surface (62) and fixed to the respective second pin (55); and a second element (61) defining a second spherical surface (63) arranged in contact with the relative first spherical surface (62) and fixed to said satellite carrier (30).

Aircraft according to claim 1, characterized in that said satellite carrier (30) defines: a plurality of first seats (75, 76) angularly equally spaced and housing respective said first pins (32); and a plurality of second seats (69) angularly equally spaced and housing respective said second pins (55).

4. Aircraft according to claim 3, characterized in that said second seats (69) are radially external with respect to said first seats (75, 76).

5. Aircraft according to claim 3, characterized in that each said second seat (69) is circumferentially interposed between two said first seats (75, 76) circumferentially consecutive between them.

Aircraft according to claim 1, characterized in that said satellite carrier (30) comprises a pair of half-elements (34, 35) axially superimposed on each other parallel to said second axis (D), defining respective axial end portions of said first seats (75, 76), and defining a plurality of said second seats (69) receiving respective said ball joints (56).

Aircraft according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a plurality of rolling bearings (40) interposed, each, between a respective first pin (32) and a respective satellite (19); said bearing (40) each comprising, in turn: a first ring (41) angularly integral with said first pin (32) and defining a first raceway (43); a second ring (43) angularly integral with the respective said satellite (19) and defining a second raceway (44); and a plurality of rolling bodies (45) shaped as cylindrical rollers, radially interposed between said first and second ring (41, 43), and rolling, in use, on said first and second raceway (42, 44).

Aircraft according to claim 7, characterized in that said satellites (19) have a plane of symmetry (P) orthogonal to the respective said third axis (I); said rolling bodies (45) of each said rolling bearing (40) being arranged symmetrically with respect to said plane of symmetry (P); said satellite carrier (30) being symmetrical with respect to the said plane of symmetry (P).

9. Aircraft according to claim 1, characterized in that said first and second element (60, 61) extend symmetrically with respect to said plane of symmetry (P).

10. Aircraft according to claim 1, characterized by being a convertiplane or a helicopter or a heliplane; said convertiplane comprising, in turn, a pair of said motor members (10), a pair of said rotors (5) and a pair of said transmissions (9) each interposed between a respective motor member (10) and a respective rotor (5).

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

[0076] With reference to FIG. 1, number 1 denotes an aircraft capable of hovering, in the shown case a convertiplane.

[0077] The convertiplane 1 essentially comprises: [0078] a fuselage 2 having an axis A of longitudinal extension; [0079] a pair of half-wings 3 extending cantilevered manner from respective parts opposite one another of the fuselage 2 and transversely to the axis A; [0080] a pair of nacelles 4 housing relative motors 10 and fixed with respect to the corresponding half-wings 3; and [0081] a pair of rotors 5 operatively connected with respective motors.
