DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0019] The innovation is now described with reference to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals are used to refer to like elements throughout. In the following description, for purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth to provide a thorough understanding thereof. It may be evident, however, that the innovation can be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are shown in block diagram form to facilitate a description thereof. Various embodiments are discussed hereinafter. It should be noted that the figures are described only to facilitate the description of the embodiments. They are not intended as an exhaustive description of the invention and do not limit the scope of the invention. Additionally, an illustrated embodiment need not have all the aspects or advantages shown. Thus, in other embodiments, any of the features described herein from different embodiments may be combined.
[0020] As noted above, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf accessory device. There also exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf glove belt clip device. More specifically, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf glove belt clip device that securely receives a golf glove. In addition, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf glove belt clip device that securely receives a golf glove, wherein the glove can be easily accessed and has an opportunity to dry. Furthermore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a golf glove belt clip device that securely receives a golf glove and can also securely receive other golf accessories, such as a ball marker and a golf tee.
[0021] The present invention, in one exemplary embodiment, is comprised of a golf glove belt clip device. The device is primarily comprised of a base having at least one fastener, at least one clip, at least one ball marker fastener, and at least one tee holder. The device preferably has a clip-like shape comprised of a base and a curved member in the form of an angled clip and allows the device to be removably clipped to a belt, a golf bag, or other structure.
[0022] The base of the device is comprised of at least one fastener located on the front surface of the base. The fastener is preferably a hook fastener or a loop fastener that receives the fastener surface (i.e., the hook surface or the loop surface) of the golf glove. In this manner, the golf is removably attached to the device.
[0023] The device may also be comprised of at least one ball marker fastener. In one embodiment, the fastener is comprised of a magnet that may receive a metal ball marker. In another embodiment, the device may be magnetic to receive a metal ball marker. The device may also be comprised of at least one tee holder that receives at least one golf tee, wherein the holder is preferably a loop and/or a cylindrical structure.
[0024] The device may also be comprised of a method of use. First, the device is secured to a belt (or other item or structure) of a user using the curved member. Then, a golf glove may be attached to the fastener via the fastener surface of the glove and removed as needed during use. At least one golf tee can also be placed into and removed from the tee holder during use. In addition, at least one ball marker may be attached and removed from at least one ball marker fastener during use.
[0025] Accordingly, the golf glove belt clip device of the present invention is particularly advantageous as it provides a golf glove belt clip device that securely receives a golf glove. In addition, the device allows the glove to be easily accessed and allows the glove to dry. Furthermore, the device can also securely receive other golf accessories, such as a ball marker and a golf tee. In this manner, the golf glove belt clip device overcomes the limitations of existing methods of storing golf gloves when not in use during a round of golf that are known in the art.
