Abstract
An ice bag assembly includes a first bag that is comprised of a moisture wicking material for wicking moisture away from ice cubes stored in the first bag. In this way the first bag inhibits the ice cubes from freezing together. A second bag is positioned around the first bag and the second bag is comprised of a moisture wicking material to wick moisture away from the first bag that has been wicked from the ice cubes. A sleeve is continuously arcuate such that the sleeve forms a closed loop and each of the first bag and the second bag is suspended from the sleeve. A drawstring is positioned in the sleeve for closing the first bag and the second bag.

Description
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)
[0011] The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
[0012]
[0013]
[0014]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0017] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
[0018] As best illustrated in
[0019] A second bag 24 is provided and the second bag 24 is positioned around the first bag 12. The second bag 24 is comprised of a moisture wicking material to wick moisture away from the first bag 12 that has been wicked from the ice cubes 14. The second bag 24 has an inside surface 26, an outside surface 28 and an edge 30 forming an opening 32 into the second bag 24. The inside surface 26 is bonded to the exterior surface 18 of the first bag 12 having the edge 20 of the first bag 12 being aligned with the edge 30 of the second bag 24.
[0020] A sleeve 34 is provided that is continuously arcuate such that the sleeve 34 forms a closed loop, and each of the first bag 12 and the second bag 24 is suspended from the sleeve 34. The sleeve 34 has an outer surface 36 and the outer surface 36 has a lower side 38 and an outwardly facing side 40. The edge of the first bag 12 is coupled to the lower side 38 of the outer surface 36 and the edge of the second bag 24 is coupled to the lower side 38 of the outer surface 36. In this way the sleeve 34 defines the opening 22 into the first bag 12 to receive the ice cubes 14 for storing the ice cubes 14 in the first bag 12. The outwardly facing side 40 has a pair of holes 42 each extending into an interior of the sleeve 34 and the holes 42 are positioned adjacent to each other. A drawstring 44 is positioned in the sleeve 34 and the drawstring 44 is tightenable in the sleeve 34 for closing the first bag 12 and the second bag 24. The drawstring 44 is loosenable in the sleeve 34 for opening the first bag 12 and the second bag 24, and the drawstring 44 has a first end 46 and a second end 48. The drawstring 44 extends through each of the holes 42 in the outwardly facing side 40 of the outer surface 36 of the sleeve 34 such that each of the first end 46 and the second end 48 is exposed.
[0021] A pair of tighteners 50 is provided and the drawstring 44 extends through each of the tighteners 50. Each of the tighteners 50 retains the drawstring 44 in a tightened condition for closing the first bag 12 and the second bag 24. A button 52 is movably integrated into each of the tighteners 50 and each of the tighteners 50 is biased to frictionally engage the drawstring 44 for retaining the sleeve 34 in a closed condition. The tighteners 50 disengage the drawstring 44 when the button 52 on the tighteners 50 is depressed thereby facilitating the tighteners 50 to slide freely on the drawstring 44. A pair of balls 54 is each of the balls 54 is coupled to a respective one of the first end 46 and the second end 48 of the drawstring 44 to inhibit the tighteners 50 from being removed from the drawstring 44.
[0022] In use, ice cubes 14 that are produced by an ice machine, for example, are placed in the first bag 12 for storing the ice cubes 14 in a freezer that is independent from the ice machine. The first bag 12 wicks away any moisture that is produced from melting or condensation with respect to the ice cubes 14. In this way the ice cubes 14 are inhibited from freezing together in the freezer. Thus, a user does not have the break the ice cubes 14 apart from each other to use the ice cubes 14 in a drink, for example. The drawstring 44 is drawn to close the sleeve 34 and the tighteners 50 are slid against the sleeve 34 to keep the sleeve 34 closed.
[0023] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0024] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
