Abstract
The present invention relates to a multi-gym machine which enables a user to perform a plurality of different exercises for the whole body. More specifically the present invention relates specifically to a power tower machine in which the user utilizes a combination of the user body weight (calisthenics) in addition to variable elastic bands to provide additional assistance or resistance.
This advanced power tower hereby disclosed incorporates an arrangement of multiple handles, various pulleys, elastic cables and steel wire connected to a special waist belt to be put on by the user. The elastic cables depending on their anchor points either from the top or the bottom pulley, generates assistance or resistance to the user respectively for the specific workout. A set of sensors, processor and Bluetooth transmission unit is integrated on the power tower to process, transmit, process and manage several workouts performance indicators via a dedicated mobile application offering a virtual coaching capabilities.
Also with internet connection, the mobile application offers an IoT (Internet of Things) concept enable virtual competition with other users using the same machine and mobile application.
Claims
1. An exercise machine comprising: a frame; a set of handles and grips (for the different positions of exercises), pads (back and elbow support) attached to the frame; and a system of elastic bands provides assistance and resistance to the exercise motion; and a collector grouping the elastic bands a steel wire and snap hooks linking the collector from one side and the belt from the other side (through the adjustable strap); and a waist belt, and a pulley system comprising: 2 1-groove V shape pulley on which the steel wire turns around; and 2 3-groove U shape pulley on which the elastic bands turns around
2. An exercise machine as set forth in claim 1, wherein; said elastic bands are sliding only on the 3-groove U shape, and wherein said pulleys are fixed to the mid upper and lower part of the frame.
3. An exercise machine as set forth in claim 2, wherein; said elastic bands are attached to the steel wire by means of a collector with 3 tight grooves
4. An exercise machine as set forth in claim 3 wherein; said steel wire are sliding only on the 2 1-groove V shape, and wherein said pulleys are fixed to the top upper and lower part of the frame.
5. An exercise machine as set forth in claim 4 wherein; said steel wire is attached to a belt which the user put on around the waste via an adjustable strap depending on the height of the user and the exercise
6. An exercising machine as set forth in claim 1 wherein; said waist belt composed of 2 halves put on the front and the bask of the user, and the 2 halves are attached together by 2 adhering straps from the sides using Velcro male and female surface
7. An exercise machine as set forth in claim 6 wherein; said waist belt contains 2 D rings, 1 on the front and one the back, and to be attached to the steel wire.
8. An exercise machine as set forth in claim 6 wherein; said waist belt contains supporting stainless steel stays to maintain the correct position of the spinal by providing support to the lumbar.
9. An exercise machine as set forth in claim 6 wherein; said waist belt contains an attached neoprene belt fostering the fat burning around the waste area.
10. An exercise machine as set forth in claim 3 wherein; said the 2 1-groove V shape pulley on which the steel wire slides are linked to encoders to measure the movement of the wire.
11. An exercise machine as set forth in claim 1 wherein; said 4 load sensors are fixed underneath the 4 legs of the machine, and a platform linked to the frame forming an integrated weighing device.
12. An exercise machine as set forth in claims 10 and 11 wherein; said microprocessor and Bluetooth unit is connected to the sensors and send the signals to the designated application in the mobile phone.
