Abstract
Disclosed is an implant through which a liquid or pasty material can be injected in a targeted manner. This implant is composed of: a main implant with a lumen extending along its entire length, the body of the main implant being of hexagonal cross section, with the plane faces drilled with internally threaded holes which open into the lumen and are intended to remain open or to be plugged by one or more micro screws of the complementary implants, the distal end and proximal end of the implant being threaded; one or more complementary implants, for each of which the micro screw thereof, intended to cooperate with the internally threaded holes of the main implant, is connected to its insertion sleeve by way of a separable zone. The implant is intended in particular for surgical interventions.
Claims
1-5. (canceled)
6. A medical implant for targeted injection consisting of a main implant (1) and one or more complementary implants (2), wherein the main implant (1) has three parts, the central part called body (12).) of polygonal section offers flat faces (122) over its entire periphery, which are perforated to its longitudinal axis recessed into lumen (123) orifices to be plugged by one or more micro-screws (21) from the complementary implants (2), or to remain open, and that the proximal portion (13) encloses an injection chamber (134) that can extend over the entire length of the body of the said screw, called to receive a specific cannula dedicated instrumentation; wherein each complementary implant (2) consists of a stopper micro screw (21) to plug one of the threaded holes (121) of the main implant (1), separated from a sleeve insertion (22) by a breakable zone (221).
7. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 6, wherein the micro screws (21) are positioned to plug one, several or all threaded holes (121) to stop the diffusion of a material, liquid or slurry, in targeted and previously determined sites, as presented in position (1211).
8. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 6, wherein the micro screw (21) has breakable zone (221) for separating the insertion sleeve (22), by shearing or bending, after screwing said micro screw (21) in one of the threaded holes (121) of the main implant (1).
9. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 6, wherein the insertion sleeve (22) of the complementary implants (2) can be terminated by a constriction (222) allowing a better grip to insert the micro screw (21) in the threaded holes (121) and disconnect it at the end of tightening.
10. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 6, wherein the ends of the main implant are threaded portions (11, 13), each having a self-piercing and self-tapping principle (111, 131).
11. The medical implant of claim 6, wherein the polygonal section of the body is hexagonal.
12. The medical implant of claim 6, wherein the lumen orifices are tapped holes.
13. The medical implant of claim 11, wherein the lumen orifices are tapped holes.
14. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 11, wherein the micro screws (21) are positioned to plug one, several or all threaded holes (121) to stop the diffusion of a material, liquid or slurry, in targeted and previously determined sites, as presented in position (1211).
15. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 12, wherein the micro screws (21) are positioned to plug one, several or all threaded holes (121) to stop the diffusion of a material, liquid or slurry, in targeted and previously determined sites, as presented in position (1211).
16. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 13, wherein the micro screws (21) are positioned to plug one, several or all threaded holes (121) to stop the diffusion of a material, liquid or slurry, in targeted and previously determined sites, as presented in position (1211).
17. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 11, wherein the micro screw (21) has breakable zone (221) for separating the insertion sleeve (22), by shearing or bending, after screwing said micro screw (21) in one of the threaded holes (121) of the main implant (1).
18. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 12, wherein the micro screw (21) has breakable zone (221) for separating the insertion sleeve (22), by shearing or bending, after screwing said micro screw (21) in one of the threaded holes (121) of the main implant (1).
19. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 13, wherein the micro screw (21) has breakable zone (221) for separating the insertion sleeve (22), by shearing or bending, after screwing said micro screw (21) in one of the threaded holes (121) of the main implant (1).
20. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 11, wherein the insertion sleeve (22) of the complementary implants (2) can be terminated by a constriction (222) allowing a better grip to insert the micro screw (21) in the threaded holes (121) and disconnect it at the end of tightening.
21. Medical implant for targeted injection according to claim 12, wherein the insertion sleeve (22) of the complementary implants (2) can be terminated by a constriction (222) allowing a better grip to insert the micro screw (21) in the threaded holes (121) and disconnect it at the end of tightening.

[0029] As can be seen from all the foregoing, the invention provides an implant, in particular an osteosynthesis implant, having, in comparison with homologous screws of the prior art or borrowed from other disciplines, the decisive advantage of making it possible to target the injecting a liquid or slurry material into a bone cavity, in particular to achieve filling or consolidation, under the best conditions, and avoiding any risk of constraining any nerve, and/or any other soft part, which may be present at near the injection site.
[0030] It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the embodiment described above by way of example, but that it extends to all the equipment and all forms of embodiments covered by the claims herein.after annexed. While various embodiments have been described and illustrated, the detailed description is not to be construed as being limited hereto. Various modifications can be made to the embodiments by those skilled in the art without departing from the true spirit and scope of the disclosure as defined by the claims.
