Abstract
A cosmetology training assembly for practicing cutting and trimming hair includes a mannequin that has a pedestal and a head that is mounted on the pedestal. The pedestal is positioned on a support surface thereby facilitating the head to be accessible to a user. A plurality of hairs each extends outwardly through the head and each of the hairs is manipulated for cosmetology training. Each of the hairs is selectively urged away from the head to increase a length of the hairs for cutting or trimming for cosmetology training.
Claims
1. A cosmetology training assembly having selectively extendable hair wherein said assembly is configured to train cosmetology practices, said assembly comprising: a mannequin having a pedestal and a head being mounted on said pedestal, said pedestal being configured to be positioned on a support surface thereby facilitating said head to be accessible to a user; and a plurality of hairs, each of said hairs extending outwardly through said head wherein each of said hairs is configured to be manipulated for cosmetology training, each of said hairs being selectively urged away from said head to increase a length of said hairs wherein said hairs are configured to be cut or trimmed for cosmetology training.

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said head is hollow, said head having a plurality of apertures extending into an interior of said head, said apertures being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around a back side of the head, a top side of the head, a first lateral side of the head and a second lateral side of the head wherein said plurality of apertures is configured to simulate a hair pattern of a human head.

The assembly according to claim 1, further comprising a plurality of spools, each of said spools being rotatably positioned within said mannequin, each of said spools being rotatably coupled to an inside surface of said head, each of said spools being selectively urged to rotate in a first direction.

The assembly according to claim 3, wherein: said head includes a plurality of apertures each extending into an interior of said head; and each of said hairs being wrapped around an associated one of said spools, each of said hairs extending through an associated one of said apertures in said head.

A cosmetology training assembly having selectively extendable hair wherein said assembly is configured to train cosmetology practices, said assembly comprising: a mannequin having a pedestal and a head being mounted on said pedestal, said pedestal being configured to be positioned on a support surface thereby facilitating said head to be accessible to a user, said head being hollow, said head having a plurality of apertures extending into an interior of said head, said apertures being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around a back side of the head, a top side of the head, a first lateral side of the head and a second lateral side of the head wherein said plurality of apertures is configured to simulate a hair pattern of a human head; a plurality of spools, each of said spools being rotatably positioned within said mannequin, each of said spools being rotatably coupled to an inside surface of said head, each of said spools being selectively urged to rotate in a first direction; and a plurality of hairs, each of said hairs being wrapped around an associated one of said spools, each of said hairs extending outwardly through said head wherein each of said hairs is configured to be manipulated for cosmetology training, each of said hairs being selectively urged away from said head to increase a length of said hairs wherein said hairs are configured to be cut or trimmed for cosmetology training, each of said hairs extending through an associated one of said apertures in said head.

Each of the spools 32 is rotatably coupled to an inside surface 34 of the head 16 and each of the spools 32 is selectively urged to rotate in a first direction. The spools 32 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed around the simulated hair pattern defined by the apertures 20.
[0020] A plurality of hairs 36 is provided and each of the hairs 36 is wrapped around an associated one of the spools 32. Additionally, each of the hairs 36 extends outwardly through the head 16. In this way each of the hairs 36 may be manipulated for cosmetology training. Each of the hairs 36 is selectively urged away from the head 16 to increase a length of the hairs 36. Thus, the hairs 36 may be cut or trimmed for cosmetology training. Each of the hairs 36 extends through an associated one of the apertures 20 in the head 16. Additionally, each of the hairs 36 may be a synthetic wig hair, a natural wig hair and any other type of wig hair.

The pedestal 14 is placed on the support surface 18 and each of the hairs 36 is urged outwardly from the head 16 to a selected length. Thus, each of the hairs 36 may be trimmed and cut during cosmetology training. Each of the hairs 36 has a length of at least 2.0 meters thereby facilitating each of the hairs 36 to be cut and trimmed multiple times. In this way the mannequin 12 facilitates multiple training sessions for cutting and styling hair.
