Abstract
The invention relates to an elevator operating panel comprising at least one touchscreen panel with first touch screen areas being linked to first capacitive touch screen sensor, which touchscreen panel has a second touch screen area which is linked to the first touch screen sensor as well as to an additional second touch screen sensor, which second sensor is configured to be connected to a backup power supply.
Claims
1. Elevator operating panel comprising at least one touchscreen panel with first touch screen areas being linked to first touch screen sensor, which touchscreen panel has a second touch screen area which is linked to the first touch screen sensor as well as to an additional second touch screen sensor, which second sensor is configured to be connected to a backup power supply.
2. Elevator operating panel according to claim 1, wherein the second touch screen area has a tactile marking.
3. Elevator operating panel according to claim 2, wherein that the tactile marking is formed by a frame projecting from the surface of the touchscreen panel surrounding the second touch screen area.
4. Elevator operating panel according to claim 1, wherein the second sensor is connected in parallel to the first sensor.
5. Elevator operating panel according to claim 1, wherein an illumination- or animation device is located behind the second touch screen area, which illumination- or animation device is configured to be operated by activation of at least one of the touch screen sensors linked with the second touch screen area.
6. Elevator operating panel according to claim 5, wherein an illumination- or animation device is connected to the backup-power supply.
7. Elevator operating panel according to claim 1, wherein a confirmation circuit is linked with the sensors linked to the second touch screen area, which confirmation circuit is connected to an output means of the operating panel, and which confirmation circuit is configured to be operated by activation of at least one of the two touch screen sensors linked to the second touch screen area.
8. Elevator operating panel according to claim 1, wherein the first sensor has a first interface and the second sensor has a separate second interface for connection with a control of the operating panel, and that the second interface is also connected with a backup power supply.
9. Elevator operating panel according to claim 1, wherein the backup power supply is a capacitor or battery.
10. Elevator operating panel according to claim 1, wherein the first and second sensors are capacitive sensors.
11. Elevator operating panel according to claim 1, wherein the second touch screen area is integrated in the touch screen panel.
12. Elevator car having an operating panel according to claim 1, which elevator car also has a loudspeaker and microphone which is activated in connection with the pressing of the alarm button.
13. Elevator comprising at least one elevator car according to claim 12, comprising a telecommunication connection connected to the operating panel which is configured to be set up in response to the operation of the second touch screen area.
Description
[0019] The invention is hereinafter described by the aid of an embodiment in connection with the appended drawings. In the drawings:
[0020]
[0021]
[0022]
[0023]
[0024]
[0025]
[0026] Additionally, the second touch screen area 18 for the alarm button is linked to a second capacitive touch screen sensor 20 which is shown in
[0027] The second interface 24 of the second sensor 20 is not only connected to the operating panel 40 but also to a backup power supply 42 to remain active even in case of a power failure. This is essential to be able to detect trapped passengers also in case of a power-off. The alarm button 18 has on the front plate 30 of the touch screen panel 11 a ring frame 34 which can easily be acknowledged by handicapped people, for example by blind people, to belong to the alarm button. Also the door open and door closed buttons may be marked with a respective ring 36, 38 protruding from the surface of the front plate 30 and surrounding the respective touch sensitive area of the buttons 14, 16.
[0028] Additionally, behind the second touch screen area 18, an illumination device 44 is located in connection, e.g. embedded in the back plate 28 of the touch screen panel 11 which is arranged to be illuminated after the second touch screen area 18 has been pushed by a passenger. The illumination device 44 preferably connects with the supply line 22 for the second sensor when the components 26, 28, 30, 20 of the touchscreen panel are mounted together. Via this means no separate power line is necessary for the illumination device. Additionally, an audio confirmation can be given by a loudspeaker (not shown) located in connection with the operating panel.
[0029] The invention is not limited to the described embodiments but can be varied within the scope of appended patent claims.
