DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0025] Referring to FIGS. 2-6, the snowboard-specific backpack according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a backpack 10 with at least a storage pouch 60 arranged therein, a snowboard 13 with a pair of boots 14, and a under storage 12 providing a space for the snowboard 13. The under storage 12 has a female hook and loop fastener 10a, an upper storage 11 which is on the top of the under storage 12. When the snowboard 13 is loaded, it will have opening and closing relations with the under storage 12 (step 12). The upper storage 11 has more than one male hook and loop fastener 10b to be attached with the female hook and loop fastener 10a (step 34). The snowboard-specific backpack also comprises a strap 50a for carrying purpose provided on the side of the backpack 10. The strap 50a has a wide end 50c and a narrow end 50b. The snowboard-specific backpack also comprises a side release buckle 15 provided on the side of the under storage 12. The backpack 10 can comprise more than one extra pouch 11a if needed. The backpack 10 can further comprise a top mount strap 30, and a side strap 31. The backpack 10 can further comprise more than one zipper 16 for the storage 60 if needed. The backpack 10 has more than one side release buckles, including a female buckle 12a and a male buckle 22a to fasten the snowboard 13 between the under storage 12 and the upper storage 11. The storage pouch 60 can have more than one insulated bags 60a for storage, which is made of tinfoil.

[0026] Referring to FIG. 2, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the snowboard-specific backpack can be transformed between a front carrying mode and a back carrying mode through being rotated and worn back and forth. When a snowboard 13 is loaded, the user can turn the backpack 10 to the back so as to carry it and move easily. When the snowboard 13 is not in use (e.g. before or after snowboarding), it can be held between the under storage 12 and upper storage 11, where the user does not have to put down the backpack 10. The snowboard 13 can be loaded by being put between the under storage 12 and the upper storage 11 and held by the female hook and loop fastener 10a and the male hook and loop fastener 10b, as FIG. 3 illustrated.

[0027] FIG. 4 illustrated the buckles and extra pouches. When the user is carrying the snowboard 13, the buckle 15 is used to wrap and secure the snowboard 13 and boots 14. It is also possible to have extra pouches 11a for accommodating and carrying more articles, such that the snowboarder does not have to carry another backpack.

[0028] FIG. 5 illustrated detailed structure of the snowboard-specific backpack and a partially enlarged view of the male and female buckles of the snowboard-specific backpack according to the above preferred embodiment of the present invention. To enhance the utility and durability of the backpack, it can comprise more zippers 16, male buckles 22a, and female buckles 12a to hold the snowboard 13 and further comprise a top mount strap 30 and a side strap 31 to help hand carrying. To extend the battery life of electronic device in a extremely cold weather, the pouch 60 can be replaced with a tinfoil insulated bag to keep the battery warm.

[0029] With the components mentioned above, objects and advantage of the present invention includes:

[0030] 1. The backpack can be used for both snowboarding and daily uses.

[0031] 2. Concealed snowboard carrying system: it is easy to load/mount and unload the snowboard without taking off the backpack.

[0032] 3. The sling bag design avoids the snowboard from contacting the snowboarder's calves, saves time, and provides easy access of the carried items.

[0033] 4. Good balance, which helps for snowboarding.

[0034] 5. Slick and compact design for daily use.

    [0035] 6. Lightweight construction.

[0036] One skilled in the art will understand that the embodiment of the present invention as shown in the drawings and described above is exemplary only and not intended to be limiting.
