Abstract
An embodiment of the umbrella holder can include a pouch and a strap system connected to the pouch. In an embodiment, the strap system includes a pair of shoulder straps, a waist strap, and a chest strap. The pouch can be generally cylindrical having an open upper end, a closed lower end, and a cylindrical peripheral wall extending between the upper and closed ends. The umbrella holder is configured to hold a collapsible handheld umbrella when the umbrella is in the collapsed configuration and the shaft of the umbrella when the umbrella is in an expanded configuration. As such, a user can carry the umbrella hands-free or without having to hold the umbrella.
Claims
1. An umbrella holder, comprising: a generally cylindrical pouch including an open end, an opposing closed end, and a peripheral wall extending between the open end and the closed end; a strap system detachably connected to the pouch, the strap system comprising a pair of shoulder straps, a chest strap having end portions connected to the shoulder straps, and a waist strap; an adjustable fastening strap connected to one of the shoulder straps; and a tubular support connected to the waist strap and aligned with the adjustable fastening strap.
2. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 1, wherein the pouch includes two inner pockets, a cavity between the inner pockets, and a padding material in each pocket.
3. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 2, further comprising at least a pair of releasable fasteners within the cavity.
4. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 2, further comprising a plurality of releasable fasteners on an outer surface of the pouch.
5. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 1, further comprising: a casing attached to the waist strap; a telescopic rod secured within the casing; and at least one rod fastening strap attached to the rod, the rod fastening strap including a detachable fastener.
6. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 5, wherein the rod is retractable.
7. An umbrella holder, comprising: a generally cylindrical pouch including an open end, an opposing closed end, a peripheral wall extending between the open end and the closed end, two inner pockets, a cavity between the inner pockets, and a padding material in each pocket; a strap system detachably connected to the pouch, the strap system comprising a pair of shoulder straps, a chest strap having end portions connected to the shoulder straps, and a waist strap; an adjustable fastening strap connected to one of the shoulder straps; and a tubular support connected to the waist strap and aligned with the adjustable fastening strap.
8. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 7, further comprising at least a pair of releasable fasteners within the cavity.
9. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 7, further comprising a plurality of releasable fasteners on an outer surface of the pouch.
10. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 7, further comprising a casing attached to the waist strap; a rod secured within the casing; and at least one rod fastening strap attached to the rod, the rod fastening strap including a detachable fastener.
11. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 10, wherein the rod is retractable.
12. An umbrella holder, comprising: a generally cylindrical pouch including an open end, an opposing closed end, a peripheral wall extending between the open end and the closed end, two inner pockets, a cavity between the inner pockets, a padding material in each pocket, and at least a pair of releasable fasteners within the cavity; a strap system detachably connected to the pouch, the strap system comprising a pair of shoulder straps, a chest strap having end portions connected to the shoulder straps, and a waist strap; an adjustable fastening strap connected to one of the shoulder straps; and to a tubular support connected to the waist strap and aligned with the adjustable fastening strap.
13. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 12, further comprising a plurality of releasable fasteners on an outer surface of the pouch.
14. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 12, further comprising a casing attached to the waist strap; a rod secured within the casing; and at least one rod fastening strap attached to the rod, the rod fastening strap including a detachable fastener.
15. The umbrella holder as recited in claim 14, wherein the rod is retractable.
