DESCRIPTION OF THE PHOTOGRAPH
(1) This new Lobelia plant is illustrated by the accompanying photograph which shows the plant's overall plant habit including form, foliage, and flowers. The photograph is of a 3-month-old plant grown in a greenhouse in Stuttgart, Germany in November 2021. The colors shown are as true as can be reasonably obtained by conventional photographic procedures.
DESCRIPTION OF THE NEW VARIETY
(2) The following detailed descriptions set forth the distinctive characteristics of ‘KLELE21019’. The data which define these characteristics were collected from asexual reproductions carried out in Stuttgart, Germany. Data was collected on 8-week-old plants grown in a greenhouse in Stuttgart, Germany in April 2022. Color references are to The R.H.S. Colour Chart of The Royal Horticultural Society of London (R.H.S.), 5.sup.th edition (2007), unless otherwise noted. Classification: Family.—Campanulaceae. Botanical.—Lobelia erinus. Common.—Lobelia. Designation.—‘KLELE21019’. Parentage: Female parent.—The proprietary female Lobelia variety ‘LE-2013-0014’ (unpatented). Male parent.—The proprietary male Lobelia variety ‘LE-2010-0044’ (unpatented). Growth: Growth and branching habit.—Semi-upright, freely branching. Form.—Triangular. Height (measured from the top of the soil including any flowers).—12.0 cm. Width (horizontal plant diameter, including any flowers).—18.0 cm. Time to produce a finished flowering plant.—7 weeks. Outdoor plant performance.—Very good. Time to initiate roots.—2 to 3 weeks. (5) ‘KLELE21019’ is most similar to the commercial Lobelia variety HOT ‘White’ (‘Weslowhite’; U.S. Plant Pat. No. 16,295). Differences between the varieties are described in Table 2.
