Golfing Watch Band

Abstract

A golfing watch band includes a base plate, at least one magnet, a first strap, a second strap, a first watch-mount, and a second watch-mount. The base plate includes a plate body, a first strap receiver, and a second strap receiver. The first strap receiver and the second strap receiver are oppositely connected to the plate body. The magnet is concentrically positioned and connected to the plate body. The first watch-mount is adjacently connected to the distal end of the first strap. The second watch-mount is adjacently connected to the distal end of the second strap. The proximal end of the first strap is adjustably looped around the first strap receiver. The proximal end of the second strap is adjustably looped around the second strap receiver. The magnetized plate body allows the user to magnetically attach a ball marker, a golf tee, and a divot tool to the plate body.

Claims

1. A golfing watch band comprising: a base plate; at least one magnet; a first strap; a second strap; a first watch-mount; a second watch-mount; the base plate comprising a plate body, a first strap receiver, and a second strap receiver; the first strap and the second strap each comprising a proximal end and a distal end; the first strap receiver and the second strap receiver being oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body; the first strap receiver being terminally connected to the plate body; the second strap receiver being terminally connected to the plate body; the magnet being concentrically positioned to the plate body; the magnet being adjacently connected to the plate body; the first watch-mount being adjacently connected to the distal end of the first strap; the second watch-mount being adjacently connected to the distal end of the second strap; the proximal end of the first strap being adjustably looped around the first strap receiver; and the proximal end of the second strap being adjustably looped around the second strap receiver.

The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 1 comprising: the plate body comprising a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a third lateral edge, and a fourth lateral edge; the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge being oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body; the third lateral edge and the fourth lateral edge being oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body; the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge being positioned perpendicular to the third lateral edge and the fourth lateral edge; the first strap receiver being terminally connected to the first lateral edge; the first strap receiver being positioned offset from the first lateral edge; the second strap receiver being terminally connected to the second lateral edge; and the second strap receiver being positioned offset from the second lateral edge.

The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 1 comprising: an indentation; at least one opening; the plate body comprising an interior surface and an exterior surface; the interior surface and the exterior surface being oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body; the indentation traversing into the plate body from the exterior surface; the indentation being concentrically positioned within the plate body; the opening traversing into the plate body from the indentation; the opening being concentrically positioned within the indentation; the magnet being adjacently positioned within the opening; and the magnet being connected to the plate body.

4. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 1 comprising: the first strap and the second strap each comprising a strap body, at least one first interlocking fastener, and a second interlocking fastener; the first interlocking fastener being positioned adjacent to the second interlocking fastener; the first interlocking fastener being connected to the strap body; the second interlocking fastener being connected to the strap body; the first interlocking fastener of the first strap being positioned adjacent to the first watch-mount; the second interlocking fastener of the first strap being positioned adjacent to the proximal end of the first strap; the strap body of the first strap being looped around the first strap receiver; the second interlocking fastener of the first strap being adjustably attached to the first interlocking fastener of the first strap; the first interlocking fastener of the second strap being positioned adjacent to the second watch-mount; the second interlocking fastener of the second strap being positioned adjacent to the proximal end of the second strap; the strap body of the second strap being looped around the second strap receiver; and the second interlocking fastener of the second strap being adjustably attached to the first interlocking fastener of the second strap.

5. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 1 comprising: a golf divot tool; the golf divot tool being magnetically attached onto the plate body; and the golf divot tool being positioned adjacent to an exterior surface of the plate body.

The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 5 comprising: the golf divot tool comprising a first pitch-mark repair prong, a second pitch-mark repair prong, and a handle; the first pitch-mark repair prong being terminally connected to the handle; the second pitch-mark repair prong being terminally connected to the handle; and the first pitch-mark repair prong being positioned offset from the second pitch-mark repair prong.

7. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 1 comprising: a golf ball marker; the golf ball marker being magnetically attached onto the plate body; and the golf ball marker being positioned adjacent to an exterior surface of the plate body.

8. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 1 comprising: a golf tee holder; the golf tee holder being laterally and magnetically attached to the plate body; the golf tee holder being positioned perpendicular to the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge; and the golf tee holder being outwardly oriented from an exterior surface of the plate body.

9. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 8 comprising: the golf tee holder comprising a mounting section and a C-shaped section; the mounting section being adjacently connected to the C-shaped section; the mounting section being laterally positioned to the plate body; the mounting section being magnetically attached to the plate body; and the C-shaped section being outwardly oriented from the exterior surface of the plate body.

10. A golfing watch band comprising: a base plate; at least one magnet; a first strap; a second strap; a first watch-mount; a second watch-mount; an indentation; at least one opening; the base plate comprising a plate body, a first strap receiver, and a second strap receiver; the plate body comprising an interior surface and an exterior surface; the first strap and the second strap each comprising a proximal end and a distal end; the first strap receiver and the second strap receiver being oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body; the first strap receiver being terminally connected to the plate body; the second strap receiver being terminally connected to the plate body; the interior surface and the exterior surface being oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body; the indentation traversing into the plate body from the exterior surface; the indentation being concentrically positioned within the plate body; the opening traversing into the plate body from the indentation; the opening being concentrically positioned within the indentation; the magnet being adjacently positioned within the opening; the magnet being concentrically positioned to the plate body; the magnet being adjacently connected to the plate body; the first watch-mount being adjacently connected to the distal end of the first strap; the second watch-mount being adjacently connected to the distal end of the second strap; the proximal end of the first strap being adjustably looped around the first strap receiver; and the proximal end of the second strap being adjustably looped around the second strap receiver.

11. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 10 comprising: the plate body comprising a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a third lateral edge, and a fourth lateral edge; the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge being oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body; the third lateral edge and the fourth lateral edge being oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body; the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge being positioned perpendicular to the third lateral edge and the fourth lateral edge; the first strap receiver being terminally connected to the first lateral edge; the first strap receiver being positioned offset from the first lateral edge; the second strap receiver being terminally connected to the second lateral edge; and the second strap receiver being positioned offset from the second lateral edge.

The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 10 comprising: the first strap and the second strap each comprising a strap body, at least one first interlocking fastener, and a second interlocking fastener; the first interlocking fastener being positioned adjacent to the second interlocking fastener; the first interlocking fastener being connected to the strap body; the second interlocking fastener being connected to the strap body; the first interlocking fastener of the first strap being positioned adjacent to the first watch-mount; the second interlocking fastener of the first strap being positioned adjacent to the proximal end of the first strap; the strap body of the first strap being looped around the first strap receiver; the second interlocking fastener of the first strap being adjustably attached to the first interlocking fastener of the first strap; the first interlocking fastener of the second strap being positioned adjacent to the second watch-mount; the second interlocking fastener of the second strap being positioned adjacent to the proximal end of the second strap; the strap body of the second strap being looped around the second strap receiver; and the second interlocking fastener of the second strap being adjustably attached to the first interlocking fastener of the second strap.

13. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 10 comprising: a golf divot tool; the golf divot tool being magnetically attached onto the plate body; and the golf divot tool being positioned adjacent to an exterior surface of the plate body.

14. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 13 comprising: the golf divot tool comprising a first pitch-mark repair prong, a second pitch-mark repair prong, and a handle; the first pitch-mark repair prong being terminally connected to the handle; the second pitch-mark repair prong being terminally connected to the handle; and the first pitch-mark repair prong being positioned offset from the second pitch-mark repair prong.

15. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 10 comprising: a golf ball marker; the golf ball marker being magnetically attached onto the plate body; and the golf ball marker being positioned adjacent to an exterior surface of the plate body.

16. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 10 comprising: a golf tee holder; the golf tee holder being laterally and magnetically attached to the plate body; the golf tee holder being positioned perpendicular to the first lateral edge and the second lateral edge; and the golf tee holder being outwardly oriented from an exterior surface of the plate body.

17. The golfing watch band as claimed in claim 16 comprising: the golf tee holder comprising a mounting section and a C-shaped section; the mounting section being adjacently connected to the C-shaped section; the mounting section being laterally positioned to the plate body; the mounting section being magnetically attached to the plate body; and the C-shaped section being outwardly oriented from the exterior surface of the plate body.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0025] The present invention is a golfing watch band that attaches to existing wristwatch cases so that a variety of golfing accessories can be magnetically attached to the golfing watch band. The present invention can be attached to any existing analog, electronic, and smart wristwatches through the pair of attachment points of the wristwatch case, without deviating from the scope of the functionality. As shown in FIGS. 1-4, the present invention comprises a base plate 1, at least one magnet 13, a first strap 22, a second strap 23, a first watch-mount 29, and a second watch-mount 30.

[0026] In reference to the general configuration of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1-5, the base plate 1 functions as a structural body that is capable of securing the golfing accessories and comprises a plate body 2, a first strap receiver 10, and a second strap receiver 11. The first strap 22 and the second strap 23 are positioned around the user's wrist so that the base plate 1 can be secured to the wristwatch case. The first strap 22 and the second strap 23 each comprises a proximal end 24 and a distal end 25 thus defining the two opposite ends of each strap. The first strap receiver 10 and the second strap receiver 11 are oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body 2 and facilitate the attachment of the first strap 22 and the second strap 23. More specifically, the first strap receiver 10 is terminally connected to the plate body 2 so that the proximal end 24 of the first strap 22 is able to adjustably loop around the first strap receiver 10. The second strap receiver 11 is terminally connected to the plate body 2 so that the proximal end 24 of the second strap 23 is able to adjustably loop around the second strap receiver 11. The magnet 13 is concentrically positioned to the plate body 2 and adjacently connected to the plate body 2 thus magnetizing the base plate 1. The first watch-mount 29 is adjacently connected to the distal end 25 of the first strap 22. The second watch-mount 30 is adjacently connected to the distal end 25 of the second strap 23. As a result, the first watch-mount 29 is able to attach the first strap 22 to the wristwatch case, and the second watch-mount 30 is able to attach the second strap 23 to the wristwatch case.

[0027] The plate body 2 is made from any type of ferromagnetic metals so that the magnet 13 is able to magnetize the base plate 1. In reference to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, the plate body 2 is preferably shaped into a rectangular form and may comprise a first lateral edge 5, a second lateral edge 6, a third lateral edge 7, and a fourth lateral edge 8. More specifically, the first lateral edge 5 and the second lateral edge 6 are positioned opposite of each other about the plate body 2 thus defining two terminal edges. The third lateral edge 7 and the fourth lateral edge 8 are positioned opposite of each other about the plate body 2 thus defining two terminal edges. In order to attain the rectangular form, the first lateral edge 5 and the second lateral edge 6 are positioned perpendicular to the third lateral edge 7 and the fourth lateral edge 8. The first strap receiver 10 is terminally connected to the first lateral edge 5 and positioned offset from the plate body 2. Due to the offset positioning of the first strap receiver 10, a gap is created between the first strap receiver 10 and the first lateral edge 5 thus enabling the proximal end 24 of the first strap 22 to be inserted and looped around the first strap receiver 10. The second strap receiver 11 is terminally connected to the second lateral edge 6 and positioned offset from the plate body 2. Due to the offset positioning of the second strap receiver 11, a gap is created between the second strap receiver 11 and the second lateral edge 6 thus enabling the proximal end 24 of the second strap 23 to be inserted and looped around the second strap receiver 11.

[0028] In reference to FIG. 6 and FIG. 8, the present invention may further comprise an indentation 9 and at least one opening 12. The plate body 2 may further comprise an interior surface 3 and an exterior surface 4. More specifically, the interior surface 3 and the exterior surface 4 are oppositely positioned of each other about the plate body 2 and parametrically defined by the first lateral edge 5, the second lateral edge 6, the third lateral edge 7, and the fourth lateral edge 8. When the present invention is worn by the user, the interior surface 3 rests against the user's hand and the exterior surface 4 is oriented away from the user's hand. The indentation 9 traverses into the plate body 2 from the exterior surface 4 and concentrically positions within the plate body 2. As a result, the indentation 9 is able to delineate a designated storage area within the plate body 2 for specific golfing accessories. The opening 12 traverses into the plate body 2 from the indentation 9 and concentrically positions within the indentation 9. More specifically, the magnet 13 is adjacently positioned within the opening 12 so that the lateral surface and the rear surface of magnet 13 can be securely connected to the plate body 2. Preferably, the magnet 13 is press-fitted into the opening 12, such that the magnet 13 is held into the opening 12 by frictional forces. Furthermore, the front surface of the magnet 13 is not flush or level with the indentation 9, rather being slightly raised above the indentation 9. This enables easy removal of the magnet 13 from the opening 12 and creates an empty space to allow the user to get leverage to remove the attached golfing accessories.

[0029] In reference to FIGS. 3-5, the first strap 22 and the second strap 23 may cach comprise a strap body 26, at least one first interlocking fastener 27, and a second interlocking fastener 28 as the first interlocking fastener 27 and the second interlocking fastener 28 enable the adjustability within the first strap 22 and the second strap 23. The first interlocking fastener 27 is positioned adjacent to the second interlocking fastener 28 in such a way that the first interlocking fastener 27 is connected to the strap body 26, and the second interlocking fastener 28 is connected to the strap body 26. In other words, the first interlocking fastener 27 and the second interlocking fastener 28 are connected onto an external surface of the strap body 26 as an internal surface of the strap body 26 is positioned against the user's hand. In reference to the first strap 22, the first interlocking fastener 27 of the first strap 22 is positioned adjacent to the first watch-mount 29. The second interlocking fastener 28 of the first strap 22 is positioned adjacent to the proximal end 24 of the first strap 22. Then, the strap body 26 of the first strap 22 is able to loop around the first strap receiver 10 as the second interlocking fastener 28 of the first strap 22 adjustably attaches to the first interlocking fastener 27 of the first strap 22. In reference to the second strap 23, the first interlocking fastener 27 of the second strap 23 is positioned adjacent to the second watch-mount 30. The second interlocking fastener 28 of the second strap 23 is positioned adjacent to the proximal end 24 of the second strap 23. Then, the strap body 26 of the second strap 23 is able to loop around the second strap receiver 11 as the second interlocking fastener 28 of the second strap 23 adjustably attaches to the first interlocking fastener 27 of the second strap 23. Preferably, the first interlocking fastener 27 is a plurality of loop fasteners and the second interlocking fastener 28 is a plurality of hook fasteners or vice versa. However, the first interlocking fastener 27 and the second interlocking fastener 28 can be any other types of quick fastening mechanisms so that the user can easily adjust the positioning of the first strap 22 and the second strap 23 against the user's hand.

[0030] In reference to FIG. 1 and FIG. 5, the first watch-mount 29 and the second watch-mount 30 facilitate the attachment of the wristwatch case to the present invention. The first watch-mount 29 and the second watch-mount 30 may configure to attach to any variety of existing watches through a press-fit design, adhesive, a loop fastener, a magnetic fastener, or any other types of attachments to an existing wristwatch case.

The golf divot tool 14 is used to repair golf ball pitch marks on the green that are caused by forceful impacts from long distances out. The second pitch-mark repair prong 16 is terminally connected to the handle 17, wherein the first pitch-mark repair prong 15 is positioned offset from the second pitch-mark repair prong 16. The first pitch-mark repair prong 15 and the second pitch-mark repair prong 16 are designed to dig into the ground and lift up the soil underneath to repair the pitch marks by the golf club. The golf tee holder 18 is laterally and magnetically attached to the plate body 2.
