    Abstract

A method is established to afford a golfer the opportunity to witness a golf swing in real-time fashion. Said method includes supplying a ground surface, a supplemental surface, and a source of light.

    Claims

    1. A method for a golfer to observe key elements and the position of specific body parts while working on the fundamentals of a golf swing, comprising the steps of: a. supplying a ground surface as a means of proper footing for working on said golf swing, b. supplying a supplemental surface as a means of receiving/displaying said golfer's maneuvers, and c. supplying a source of light as a means of projecting said golfer's maneuvers onward, whereby said source of light is strategically positioned and well suited to project a full body shadow of said golfer's maneuvers onto said supplemental surface for the convenience of surveillance, offering an opportunity for said golfer to observe said key elements and the position of specific body parts in real-time fashion.

    Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWINGS

[0014] FIG. 1Face on view of a golfer in the address position.

[0015] FIG. 2Target line view of a golfer in the address position.

[0016] FIG. 3Face on view of a golfer at the top of the backswing.

[0017] FIG. 4Plan view of the current invention.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0018] FIG. 1 offers a face on image of the address position, wherein a golfer 6 can observe key elements, such as head position 8, tilt of torso 10, ball position 12, and width of stance 14.

[0019] FIG. 2 offers a target line image of said address position, wherein a golfer 6a can observe key elements, such as spine angle 16, hip flexion 18, knee flexion 20, ankle flexion 22, and club shaft angle 24.

[0020] FIG. 3 offers a face on image of the top of the backswing, wherein a golfer 6b can observe key elements while transitioning into the downswing: the club shaft 24a has reached a parallel position, shoulder rotation 26 is optimized, hip turn 28 is minimized, trail knee flexion 30 is stabilized, and the generation of ground force is initiated by applying downward pressure with the lead foot 32.

[0021] FIG. 4 offers a plan view, displaying all resources (e.g. a golfer 6c, a ground surface 34, a supplemental surface 36, a source of light 38, and a full-body shadow projection 40) involved in a method enabling a golfer to witness the golf swing in real-time fashion.
