Abstract
The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a device which facilitates donning boots. For individuals with back problems or the elderly, putting on boots can be quite bothersome due to the strain it may cause to the upper extremities and rear surfaces.

5. A boot helper to facilitate putting on a boot, the boot helper comprising: a plate to function as a base of the boot helper; a first shoe place frame connected at a first end to a top surface of the plate and to extend substantially perpendicularly away from the top surface of the plate; a second shoe place frame disposed next to the first shoe place frame to be connected at a first end to the top surface of the plate and to extend substantially perpendicularly away from the top surface of the plate; a first boot hook disposed at a second end of the first shoe place frame to receive a first strap of the boot; a second boot hook disposed at a second end of the second shoe place frame to receive a second strap of the boot; and a curved member disposed between the first shoe place frame and the second shoe place frame at lower portions thereof to connect the first shoe place frame o the second shoe place frame.
6. The boot helper of claim 5, wherein the second shoe place frame is substantially parallel with respect to the first shoe place frame.
7. A method to put on a boot, the method comprising: supporting a sole of the boot on a top surface of a plate, such that the sole of the boot is disposed between a first shoe place frame having a first end connected to the top surface of the plate, and a second shoe place frame having a first end connected to the top surface of the plate; hanging a first strap of the boot on a first boot hook attached to a second end of the first shoe place frame; hanging a second strap of the boot on a second boot hook attached to a second end of the second shoe place frame; and securing at least a portion of a heel of the boot within a curved member connecting a bottom portion of the first shoe place frame to a bottom portion of the second shoe place frame.
