Abstract
A device is provided for mitigating noise and vibrations associated with the compression of gases and vapours. The device may comprise at least one base plate (1), on which a compression device (2) is positioned. The compression device (2) may comprise at least one flexible pipe for intake (21) and at least one flexible pipe for displacement (22). The device can also comprise an impermeable wrapping (4), which may be connected to the base plate (1) via a hermetic joint (3). Furthermore, the base plate (1) and/or the impermeable wrapping (4) may be provided with at least one valve (5) for creating a vacuum. In addition, the base plate (1) and/or the impermeable wrapping (4) may be provided with at least one hermetically adjusted opening (6) for the location of the flexible pipe (21), (22) and/or conductors (7).
Claims
1. A device for eliminating noise, wherein the device comprises a compression device positioned on at least one base plate, wherein said compression device comprises at least one flexible intake pipe and at least one flexible displacement pipe, wherein with the device comprises at least one impermeable wrapping that is connected to the base plate via a hermetic joint, wherein the base plate and/or the impermeable wrapping comprise at least one valve for creating a vacuum, wherein the base plate and/or the impermeable wrapping comprises at least one hermetically adjusted opening for the presence of the flexible intake pipe, the flexible displacement pipe, and/or a conductor.
2. The device according to claim 1, wherein the impermeable wrapping comprises the valve for creating the vacuum.
3. The device according to claim 1, wherein the base plate comprises at least one hermetically adjusted opening for the presence of the flexible intake pipe and the flexible displacement pipe
4. The device according to claim 1, wherein the impermeable wrapping comprises at least one opening for the presence of the conductor.
5. The device according to claim 1, wherein the base plate comprises at least one anti-vibrating means.

[0018] Typically, the compression device for the compression of gases and vapours 2 is connected with the base plate 1. In preferred embodiments, the compression device 2 is removably connected to the base plate 1 by means of screw joints.
[0019] The base plate 1 and the compression device 2 may be provided with at least one impermeable wrapping 4. In preferred embodiments, this impermeable wrapping 4 is a steel wrapping. The base plate 1 and the impermeable wrapping 4 may be connected through a hermetic joint 3 for ensuring an internal environment different from the outside environment. [0024] The device for elimination of noise propagation may create a vacuum via the valve 5, which is connected with a vacuum pump. More particularly, this vacuum configuration with the vacuum pump may create a vacuum in the internal environment between the base plate 1 and the impermeable wrapping 4. Furthermore, the device of the present invention may be connected with a particular product, such as a heat pump or refrigerator, through the flexible pipe 21, 22. Moreover, by using wires from the conductor 7 or an electro clutch, the device for elimination of noise propagation may be connected to a current source. After starting the heat pump, the compression device 2 is switched on and works in its standard and conventional way, except the noise and vibration associated with its operation are detained in the indoor environment. In exemplary embodiments, the device of the present invention can be connected with a refrigerator in order to mitigate the sounds and vibrations produced by the refrigerator's compressor.
