Abstract
A travel tray may include a main body and a board. The main body has two foldable side pieces extending from two lateral edges thereof, and a length-adjustable strap has two ends which are detachably and respectively connected with two ends of a top edge of the main body. Each of two inner surfaces of the two side pieces has a plurality of first pockets for carrying items. The main body further has a foldable lid and a back piece comprising a U-shaped edge which are configured to enclose an interior space through two zippers for a user to put items therein. The hard board is formed on an inner surface of the back piece for use as a table. Thus, the travel tray can be used as a shoulder or hand bag.

[0022] In order to further understand the goal, characteristics and effect of the present invention, a number of embodiments along with the drawings are illustrated as following:
[0023] Referring to
[0024] Moreover, the main body (10) has a back piece (15), and a foldable lid (13) secured at a top portion of an outer surface of the back piece (15) configured to be folded along a top end of the back piece (15). Furthermore, a U-shaped edge (151) is configured to connect to two lateral edges and a bottom edge of the back piece (15) protrudes from an inner surface of the back piece (15), and the U-shaped edge (151) is configured to secure with the lid (13) to enclose a receiving space (152) therein through two zippers (14).
[0025] The travel tray may further include a board (20) disposed on the inner surface of the back piece (15) for use as a table when the zippers (14) are unzipped and the lid (13) is opened. Moreover, a plurality of second pockets (153) are formed on the outer surface of the back piece (15) for a user to put items therein.
[0026] In one embodiment, the two ends of the two side pieces (11) are configured to be coupled and secured together through male and female buckle members (113) (as shown in
[0027] In another embodiment, two inner lower portions of the two side pieces (11) comprise male fasteners, and a front side of the lid (13) has female fasteners at positions corresponding to the male fasteners on the side pieces (11), such that the two side pieces (11) are configured to be secured together and with the lid (13) through the male and female fasteners to create a third pocket at the front side of the main body (10) for a user to carry more items, wherein the positions of the male fasteners and the corresponding female fasteners are switchable.
[0028] In still another embodiment, two sliders of the two zippers (14), which are configured to be formed on a periphery of the lid (13), the U-shaped edge (151) or respectively on the periphery of the lid (13) and the U-shaped edge (151), are adapted to respectively be zipped in a L-shape and a mirrored L-shaped toward the two ends of the top edge of the main body (10), thereby enclosing the receiving space (152).
[0029] In a preferred embodiment, the two sliders of the two zippers (14), which are configured to be formed on the periphery of the lid (13), the U-shaped edge (151) or respectively on the periphery of the lid (13) and the U-shaped edge (151), are adapted to respectively be zipped in a L-shape and a mirrored L-shaped from the two ends of the top edge of the main body (10) to enclose the receiving space (152).
[0030] In a further embodiment, the main body (10) only has one zipper (14) which is formed on the edge of the lid (13) or the U-shaped edge (151) and configured to be zipped in a U-shape from one end of the top edge of the main body (10) to another, thereby enclosing the receiving space (152).
[0031] In still a further embodiment, the lid (13) is detachably secured on the top portion of the outer surface of the back piece (15) through a pair of hook and loop fasteners.
[0032] In yet a further embodiment, the board (20) is an alphabet play pad or other educational pads.
