Novel strap enclosure for compression with fail safe feature

Abstract

The present invention comprises a novel novel strap enclosure that, when the two fastener tongues are looped through a ring on the opposite end, cinches and applies compression forces in a constrictive way and fastens on both left and right sides with a fastener, with a consequential fail-safe, double redundant feature.

Claims

1. A novel strap enclosure that, when the two fastener tongues are inserted through a ring on the opposite end of the strap enclosure, and pulled in opposite directions lateral to the strap enclosure, applies compression forces evenly throughout the strap enclosure and allows fastening of each tongue on their respective left and right sides of said enclosure with a fastener such as hook and loop, that can be applied by the user as described herein with no rotation of the strap enclosure around the object during application, with further fastening area continuing around the rear of the strap enclosure, comprising of:

2. a main strap apparatus with a receiving ring and one fastener tongue on opposite ends, with hook and loop placed in specific locations for secure fastening

3. a second fastener tongue with hook and loop placed in specific locations for secure fastening, joined to the main strap apparatus at a specific location to facilitate a cinching mechanism for compression.

4. The novel strap enclosure of claim 1 further comprising an area for fastening the novel strap enclosure to another object, using holes or male or female fastening devices joined directly to the novel strap enclosure.

The complete design, according to various embodiments of the present invention, comprises of second fastener tongue (1.1) attached or fastened to the main strap apparatus (1.2) at area 3.2, with receiver ring (2) secured to the main strap apparatus (1.2) at area 3.1. Area 3.3 is designated the center point for which to mount or fix the novel fastener strap to an item should one use the present invention in such a way.
