DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DISCLOSED EMBODIMENTS

[0016] In the following detailed description, for purpose of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the disclosed embodiments. It will be apparent, however, that one or more embodiments may be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are schematically shown in order to simplify the drawing.

[0017] FIG. 1 shows a schematic view of the present invention according to an exemplary embodiment. FIG. 2 shows a dissected view of the present invention according to an exemplary embodiment. The sleep auxiliary apparatus of the present invention comprises: a cap 1, a connection element 2, and at least a band 3.

[0018] The following describes the details of each component of the present invention. The cap 1 is for protecting and fixing the head of the user, and is made of a breathable and stretchable soft fabric, such as, mesh fabric. Preferably, the cap 1 has a sufficient thickness to provide cushion. For example, the cap 1 can be a beanie, bobble hate, and so on. The cap 1 can further comprise a bendable visor, which can be pulled down to cover the eyes when the user rests.

[0019] The connection element 2 is fixed to the outer side of the cap 1 to provide suitable support for the cap 1. The connection element 2 comprises a fixed plate 21 and a rotatable plate 22, wherein the fixed plate 21 is fixed to the outside of the cap 1 and has a substantial area to support the cap 1 and provide comfortable rest. The rotational plate 22 is rotatably engaged to the fixed plate 21, as the arrow shown in FIG. 2, and provides connection to the band 3 so that the rotatable plate 22 can rotate to accommodate various types of headrest of seats when the band 3 is fastened to the headrest of seat. In the present embodiment, the rotatable plate 22 comprises at least a hole 221. The hole 221 allows the band 3 to pass through so that the band 3 is connected to the rotatable plate 22.

[0020] The band 3 can be wrapped around or fixed to the headrest. In the present embodiment, the band 3 is a long stripe with a fixation assembly 31 disposed at the two ends. The fixation assembly 31 can be at least one of the following: a button assembly, a buckle assembly, a Velcro fastener assembly, an adjustable buckle assembly, a ring buckle assembly, or a string set. In the present embodiment, the fixation assembly 31 is a button assembly.

[0021] FIG. 3 shows a schematic view of the present invention in actual use. A vehicle seat usually comprises a seat 41, a pillar 42 and a headrest 43. In FIG. 3, the two ends of the band 3 wraps around the headrest 43 from under and over the headrest 43. By using the fixation assembly 31 to fasten the band to the headrest 43. When the user sits in seat 41 to rest, the user can wear the cap 1 so that the head of the user is hugged inside the cap 1 and held in place to prevent from swaying. The user can also pull down the visor 11 to shield the eyes to prevent light interference.

[0022] FIG. 4 shows another schematic view of the present invention in actual use. In FIG. 4, the seat 51 has a top portion forming a headrest 52 without the pillar. The rotatable plate 22 can be rotated so that the band 3 was held in a horizontal position. The band 3 wraps around the headrest 52 from the left and right sides. As such, the present invention can also be used with seats without a gap between the headrest and the seatback, such as, office chair.

[0023] It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the disclosed embodiments. It is intended that the specification and examples be considered as exemplary only, with a true scope of the disclosure being indicated by the following claims and their equivalents.
