Abstract
A display organizer includes a front wall, a first side wall, a second side wall opposite of the first side wall, a back wall opposite of the front wall, and a bottom wall. The front wall, first side wall, the second side wall, the back wall, and the bottom wall form an opening and receptacle. The display organizer further includes an openable frame positioned on top of the front wall. The openable frame has a cut out. The cut out allows a portion of the front wall to be visible through the cut out when the openable frame is in a closed position. The display organizer includes a magnet located within the front wall. The openable frame includes a magnetic piece that corresponds to the magnet and is used to secure the openable frame to the front wall in a closed position.
Claims
1. A display organizer comprising: a receptacle having a storage space defined by a front wall, a back wall opposite the front wall, a first side wall extending between the front and back walls, a second side wall extending between the front and back walls, a bottomside wall extending between the front and back walls, and an opening into the storage space; an openable frame positioned over the front wall, the openable frame comprising a cut out therethrough and being adapted for selective opening and closing for selective insertion and removal of a display medium in a display space between the openable frame and the front wall; and at least one closing mechanism adapted to selectively secure the openable frame to the front wall in a closed position, wherein the openable frame and front wall are adapted such that: when the openable frame is in the closed position with a display medium inserted in the display space, such display medium is visible through the cut out; and when the openable frame is in the closed position without a display medium inserted in the display space, at least a portion of the front wall is visible through the cut out with the front wall obstructing visibility of contents in the storage space of the receptacle.
2. The display organizer of claim 1, further comprising a clear sheet that covers the cut out of the openable frame.
3. The display organizer of claim 2, wherein the clear sheet is attached to the front wall.
4. The display organizer of claim 3, wherein the openable frame is attached to the front wall, and wherein a portion of the clear sheet is located between the openable frame and the front wall.
5-6. (canceled)
7. The display organizer of claim 1, wherein the opening into the storage space is configured to receive display medium in the form of artwork.
8-12. (canceled)
13. The display organizer of claim 1, wherein the back wall has a first wall hanging mechanism located along a central axis of the back wall.
14. The display organizer of claim 13, wherein the back wall has a second wall hanging mechanism and a third wall hanging mechanism, the second and third wall hanging mechanisms being located along a common central axis of the back wall.
15. The display organizer of claim 1, wherein the bottomside wall comprises a flap, the flap comprising an adhesive for securing the flap to the back wall.
16. The display organizer of claim 1, wherein the openable frame is attached to the front wall.
17. The display organizer of claim 1, wherein the openable frame is attached to the first side wall.
18. The display organizer of claim 1, wherein the front wall includes an opening cut out located along an edge of the front wall opposite of an edge where the openable frame attaches to the front wall.
19. The display organizer of claim 1, wherein the cut out of the openable frame is 10.5 inches by 7.5 inches.
20. The display organizer of claim 1, wherein the display organizer is 14 inches by 11 inches.

[0017] In the following detailed description, reference is made to the accompanying drawings, which form a part hereof. In the drawings, similar symbols typically identify similar components, unless context dictates otherwise. The illustrative embodiments described in the detailed description, drawings, and claims are not meant to be limiting. Other embodiments may be utilized, and other changes may be made, without departing from the spirit or scope of the subject matter presented here. It will be readily understood that the aspects of the present disclosure, as generally described herein, and illustrated in the figures, can be arranged, substituted, combined, and designed in a wide variety of different configurations, all of which are explicitly contemplated and make part of this disclosure.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0018] Various disclosed implementations provide a frame for displaying artwork or a creation while also providing a mechanism for storing undisplayed artwork. In various implementations, the frame includes a receptacle for either receiving artwork or for receiving an insert. The insert may be removable and allows the storage and organization of artwork placed Various implementations allow the frame to open to receive a new creation to be displayed. One or more fasten mechanism, such as a magnet, may be used to both close the frame and secure the artwork within the frame.
[0019]
[0020] To display artwork, the organizer 100 includes an openable frame 110. The openable frame 110 is located on top of the front wall 102. The openable frame 110 has a cut out that allows one or more pieces of artwork to be seen through the cut out. The openable frame 110 has a border that surrounds the displayed artwork. To secure the displayed artwork, the openable frame 110 has a closing mechanism such as a magnet and the front wall 102 has a corresponding closing mechanism, such as a magnet or a piece of metal. When closed, the displayed artwork is secured between the frame 110 and the front wall 102. In one embodiment, the cut out of the openable frame 110 is 10.5 inches by 7.5 inches. In one embodiment, the display organizer is 14 inches by 11 inches when assembled. The openable frame 110 may be comprised of cardboard, plastic, etc.
[0021]
[0022] The display organizer 100 may also include a clear sheet 130 of material, such as polyethylene terephthalate, may be used to protect the displayed creation while allowing the creation to be viewable. The clear sheet 130 extends over the cut out of the openable frame, thereby, providing a mechanism of protection for the displayed artwork. In some embodiments, the clear sheet 130 may be unattached to the openable frame 110. In other embodiments, the clear sheet 130 may be attached to the front wall 102. A notch or opening cut out 140 may be formed in the front wall 102 allowing the openable frame 110 to be more easily opened.
[0023]
[0024]
[0025]
[0026]
[0027]
