    Abstract

    Male underwear (1) having a substantially triangularly-shaped pocket (3) to retain and separate male testicles (10) from rubbing against legs and groin of a wearer to avoid chafing and discomfort. The pocket has an open top (4) and two closed sides (7) and a closed bottom (8) sewn, affixed or otherwise made part of the underwear.

    Claims

    1. A male underwear having a top waist opening, two leg openings on a bottom, a front and a back, said underwear further comprising: a pocket for holding male testicles on an inside front of the underwear, said pocket having an open top, two sides and a bottom, said sides and bottom being closed and affixed to the inside front of the underwear.

    2. The male underwear of claim 1 wherein the pocket is substantially triangularly-shaped with the top being wider than the bottom.

    3. The male underwear of claim 1 wherein the open top of the pocket sags downwardly to more easily and comfortably accommodate the male testicles.

    4. The male underwear of claim 1 wherein the pocket is sewn into the inside front of the male underwear.

    5. A male underwear having a top waist opening, two leg openings on a bottom, a front and a back, said underwear further comprising: a pocket for holding male testicles on an inside front of the underwear, said pocket having an open top, two sides and a bottom, said sides and bottom being closed and affixed to inside front of the underwear; wherein the pocket is substantially triangularly-shaped with the top being wider than the bottom; wherein the open top of the pocket sags downwardly to more easily and comfortably accommodate the male testicles; and wherein the pocket is sewn into the inside front of the male underwear.

    [0037] Referring now to the FIGS. 1 and 2, a top perspective view and inside view of the male underwear 1 of the present invention are illustrated, respectively. The male underwear 1 has the conventional waist band 2, leg openings 6, and front 11 and back 12. On the inside front is a substantially triangular-shaped pocket 3 for retaining and holding male testicles. The pocket 3 has a top 4 which has an opening 5 and a bottom 8. The pocket 3 has sides 7 which are sewn or otherwise affixed to the interior of the underwear 7. The pocket top 4 is preferably loose so as to easily and comfortably accommodate the male testicles.

    [0038] FIG. 3 is a front plan view of the male underwear 1 illustrating the pocket 3 with top 4, top opening 5, two sides 7 and bottom 8 which may be sewn into the front inside of the male underwear as part of a section along sew lines 9.

The testicles 10 are shown inside the pocket 3 after being placed into the opening 5 in the pocket top 4 so as to rest and be retained from rubbing against the legs 13 of the male wearer to prevent chafing and discomfort.
