Eyebrow Shaping Devices and Methods

Abstract

An eyebrow shaping device may include a shaping base member and an eyebrow shape holder. The shaping base member may include a first section and a second section that are designed to join together in mating engagement. The first section may include a first eyebrow pattern. The second section may include a second eyebrow pattern. Together the first eyebrow pattern and the second eyebrow pattern may form a complete eyebrow pattern. The eyebrow shape holder may include a body member having a handle extending therefrom. The first and second sections of the shaping base member may be adapted for releasable engagement with the eyebrow shape holder, such as through the use of mating magnets. Using the eyebrow shape holder, the first and second eyebrow patterns are placed into contact with a make-up solution, and then pressed against a person's forehead in the desired position to create an eyebrow.

Claims

1. An eyebrow shaping device comprising: a shaping base member including a first section and a second section, the first section having a first eyebrow pattern and the second section having a second eyebrow pattern, the first section and second section being adapted to mate together to form a complete eyebrow pattern; and an eyebrow shape holder including a body member having a handle extending therefrom, the first and second sections of the shaping base member being adapted for releasable engagement with the eyebrow shape holder.

The eyebrow shaping device of claim 1, the body member of the eyebrow shape holder including a plurality of holder magnets, the first section of the shaping base member including at least one pattern magnet adapted for releaseable engagement with one of the plurality of holder magnets on the body member of the eyebrow shape holder, and the second section of the shaping base member including at least one pattern magnet adapted for releaseable engagement with another one of the plurality of holder magnets on the body member of the eyebrow shape holder.

The eyebrow shaping device of claim 2, wherein the first eyebrow pattern is disposed on a front surface of the first section of the shaping base member and the at least one pattern magnet on the first section of the shaping base member is disposed on a back surface of the first section of the shaping base member; and wherein the second eyebrow pattern is disposed on a front surface of the second section of the shaping base member and the at least one pattern magnet on the second section of the shaping base member is disposed on a back surface of the second section of the shaping base member.

The eyebrow shaping device of claim 1, wherein the first section of the shaping base member includes a first pattern magnet, the second section of the shaping base member including a second pattern magnet and a third pattern magnet, the eyebrow shape holder including a first holder magnet, a second holder magnet, and a third holder magnet, the first holder magnet being adapted for releasable engagement with the third pattern magnet on the second section of the shaping base member, the second holder magnet being adapted for releasable engagement with the second pattern magnet on the second section of the shaping base member, and the third holder magnet being adapted for releasable engagement with the first pattern magnet on the first section of the shaping base member.

The eyebrow shaping device of claim 1, the first section of the shaping base member having a first mating end and the second section of the shaping base member having a second mating end, the first mating end being formed to mate with the second mating end, the first mating end having a first mating magnet, and the second mating end having a second mating magnet, the first and second mating magnets being adapted for releasable engagement to releasably engage the first mating end of the first section of the shaping base member to the second mating end of the second section of the shaping base member.

6. The eyebrow shaping device of claim 1, wherein the body member of the eyebrow shape holder is formed from a transparent material.

7. An eyebrow shaping system comprising: a left eyebrow shaping device and a right eyebrow shaping device, the left eyebrow shaping device having a left shaping base member and a left eyebrow shape holder, the left shaping base member including a left first section and a left second section, the left first section having a left first eyebrow pattern and the left second section having a left second eyebrow pattern, the left first section and left second section being adapted to mate together to form a complete left eyebrow pattern, the left eyebrow shape holder including a left body member having a left handle extending therefrom, the left first section and the left second section of the left shaping base member being adapted for releasable engagement with the left eyebrow shape holder, the right eyebrow shaping device having a right shaping base member and a right eyebrow shape holder, the right shaping base member including a right first section and a right second section, the right first section having a right first eyebrow pattern and the right second section having a right second eyebrow pattern, the right first section and right second section being adapted to mate together to form a complete right eyebrow pattern, the right eyebrow shape holder including a right body member having a right handle extending therefrom, the right first section and the right second section of the right shaping base member being adapted for releasable engagement with the right eyebrow shape holder.

The eyebrow shaping system of claim 7, wherein: the left body member of the left eyebrow shape holder includes a plurality of left holder magnets, the left first section of the left shaping base member including at least one left pattern magnet adapted for releaseable engagement with one of the plurality of left holder magnets on the left body member of the left eyebrow shape holder, and the left second section of the left shaping base member includes at least one left pattern magnet adapted for releaseable engagement with another one of the plurality of left holder magnets on the left body member of the left eyebrow shape holder; and the right body member of the right eyebrow shape holder includes a plurality of right holder magnets, the right first section of the right shaping base member including at least one right pattern magnet adapted for releaseable engagement with one of the plurality of right holder magnets on the right body member of the right eyebrow shape holder, and the right second section of the right shaping base member includes at least one right pattern magnet adapted for releaseable engagement with another one of the plurality of right holder magnets on the right body member of the right eyebrow shape holder.

The eyebrow shaping system of claim 8, wherein: the left first eyebrow pattern is disposed on a front surface of the left first section of the left shaping base member and the at least one left pattern magnet on the left first section of the left shaping base member is disposed on a back surface of the left first section of the left shaping base member; the left second eyebrow pattern is disposed on a front surface of the left second section of the left shaping base member and the at least one left pattern magnet on the left second section of the left shaping base member is dispose on a back surface of the left second section of the left shaping base member; the right first eyebrow pattern is disposed on a front surface of the right first section of the right shaping base member and the at least one right pattern magnet on the right first section of the right shaping base member is disposed on a back surface of the right first section of the right shaping base member; and the right second eyebrow pattern is disposed on a front surface of the right second section of the right shaping base member and the at least one right pattern magnet on the right second section of the right shaping base member is dispose on a back surface of the right second section of the right shaping base member.

The eyebrow shaping system of claim 7, wherein: the left first section of the left shaping base member includes a left first pattern magnet, the left second section of the left shaping base member includes a left second pattern magnet and a left third pattern magnet, the left eyebrow shape holder includes a left first holder magnet, a left second holder magnet, and a left third holder magnet, the left first holder magnet being adapted for releasable engagement with the left third pattern magnet on the left second section of the left shaping base member, the left second holder magnet being adapted for releasable engagement with the left second pattern magnet on the left second section of the left shaping base member, and the left third holder magnet being adapted for releasable engagement with the left first pattern magnet on the left first section of the left shaping base member; and the right first section of the right shaping base member includes a right first pattern magnet, the right second section of the right shaping base member includes a right second pattern magnet and a right third pattern magnet, the right eyebrow shape holder includes a right first holder magnet, a right second holder magnet, and a right third holder magnet, the right first holder magnet being adapted for releasable engagement with the right third pattern magnet on the right second section of the right shaping base member, the right second holder magnet being adapted for releasable engagement with the right second pattern magnet on the right second section of the right shaping base member, and the right third holder magnet being adapted for releasable engagement with the right first pattern magnet on the right first section of the right shaping base member.

The eyebrow shaping system of claim 7, wherein: the left first section of the left shaping base member includes a left first mating end and the left second section of the left shaping base member includes a left second mating end, the left first mating end being formed to mate with the left second mating end, the left first mating end having a left first mating magnet, and the left second mating end having a left second mating magnet, the left first and left second mating magnets being adapted for releasable engagement to releasably engage the left first mating end of the left first section of the left shaping base member to the left second mating end of the left second section of the left shaping base member; and the right first section of the right shaping base member includes a right first mating end and the right second section of the right shaping base member includes a right second mating end, the right first mating end being formed to mate with the right second mating end, the right first mating end having a right first mating magnet, and the right second mating end having a right second mating magnet, the right first and right second mating magnets being adapted for releasable engagement to releasably engage the right first mating end of the right first section of the right shaping base member to the right second mating end of the right second section of the right shaping base member.

12. The eyebrow shaping system of claim 7, wherein the left body member of the left eyebrow shape holder and the right body member of the right eyebrow shape holder are formed from a transparent material.

13. A method of applying an eyebrow shape comprising: selecting a first section of a shaping base member having a first eyebrow pattern, selecting a second section of a shaping base member having a second eyebrow pattern, attaching the first section of the shaping base member to an eyebrow shape holder, attaching the second section of the shaping base member to the eyebrow shape holder in mating engagement with the first section of the shaping base member, placing the first eyebrow pattern and the second eyebrow pattern into a make-up solution, and pressing the first eyebrow pattern and the second eyebrow pattern against an eyebrow region of a face.

The method of applying an eyebrow shape of claim 13, further including: engaging at least one pattern magnet on the first section of the shaping base member with one of a plurality of holder magnets on the eyebrow shape holder, and engaging at least one pattern magnet on the second section of the shaping base member with another of the plurality of holder magnets on the eyebrow shape holder.

The method of applying an eyebrow shape of claim 14, wherein the first eyebrow pattern is disposed on a front surface of the first section of the shaping base member and the at least one pattern magnet on the first section of the shaping base member is disposed on a back surface of the first section of the shaping base member; and wherein the second eyebrow pattern is disposed on a front surface of the second section of the shaping base member and the at least one pattern magnet on the second section of the shaping base member is disposed on a back surface of the second section of the shaping base member.

The method of applying an eyebrow shape of claim 13, further including: engaging a first pattern magnet on the first section of the shaping base member with a third holder magnet on the eyebrow shape holder, engaging a second pattern magnet on the second section of the shaping base member with a second holder magnet on the eyebrow shape holder, and engaging a third pattern magnet on the second section of the shaping base member with a first holder magnet on the eyebrow shape holder.

17. The method of applying an eyebrow shape of claim 13, further including engaging a first mating magnet on a first mating end of the first section of the shaping base member with a second mating magnet on a second mating end of the second section of the shaping base member.

18. The method of applying an eyebrow shape of claim 13, wherein the body member of the eyebrow shape holder is formed from a transparent material.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In a specific embodiment, the shaping base member 10 may be include two parts, namely, a first section 12 and a second section 14. The first and second sections 12 and 14 are shown joined or mated together in FIG. 1. The first and second sections 12 and 14 are shown separated in FIG. 2. The first section 12 may include a first eyebrow pattern 16, and the second section 14 may include a second eyebrow pattern 18. The first section 12 and the second section 14 are adapted to mate together to form a complete eyebrow pattern. The first and second sections 12 and 14 as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 are of the right eyebrow, from the perspective of the person using the shaping base member 10.

[0026] Referring now to FIGS. 3 and 4, rear views of the back side of the shaping base member 10 along with the first and second sections 12 and 14 are shown. These views also illustrate that the shaping base member 10 may be provided with a plurality of pattern magnets 20, 22, and 24, the purpose of which will be explained below. In a specific embodiment, the back of the first section 12 may include a first pattern magnet 20. In a specific embodiment, the back of the second section 14 may include a second pattern magnet 22 and a third pattern magnet 24.

By way of non-limiting example only, a variety of different eyebrow shapes that may be used in connection with the present inventions. Similarly, the first and second sections 12 and 14 may be provided in any shape. By way of non-limiting example only, a variety of different shapes of the first and second sections 12 and 14 are shown on the right side of FIG. 8, and on the left side of FIG. 8 there are shown a number of different shapes that may be created by mixing and matching the first and second sections 12 and 14.
