Abstract

The sock system works with Mid-cut Collar Straps replacing laces for quick lockdown. The invention has 3 lockdown systems, the two Mid-cut Collar Straps, layer of Grip Skin through the upper, inside neoprene-like support system or cables, to ensure firm tight fit and eliminate over stretching. Free-Lace Frontier with Grip Skins to supply more contact and grip. Mud Armors on the upper and Grass Creeper Sole 2in1 working together to eliminate mud stick. The grass Creeper Sole 2in1 has two materials with stud patterns splitting them, one material prevents mud stick from wet ground while the other material adapts to normal ground. This function eliminates the use for metal studs which can be dangerous, and provides the ability to use same cleats in different weather conditions. The Sole Boosts run in between the studs supporting the non-mud stick soleplate materials creating energy on different grounds to improve athlete agility.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0013] FIG. 1Is a perspective view, outer-side view of the invention with labels. The invention should be made with Knit Technology materials like polyester, nylon or spandex fibers, from the sock right through the upper with a layer of Grip Skin (like microfiber synthetic leather (because it's tough, light and soft) on top. The Knit-tech materials on the upper should be thinner because of the grip skin layer on top, to keep soft natural feel. While the Knit-tech materials on the sock section should be thicker to keep firm ankle hold and protect ankles. Knit-tech is a great material to work with as it is thin enough to allow for natural touch yet it is thick enough to keep feet protected during game play. This combination is ideal for the invention since Knit-tech is so pliable it has the ability to stretch and is super easy to work with from first wear. Grip skin layer through the upper keeps everything together while providing some additional texture on the ball. Therefore, the cleat provides more durability, simplifies maintenance, keeps firm shape, and prevents over stretching.

[0014] FIG. 2Is a perspective view, inner-side view of the invention with labels. The invention fundamental features described previously are labeled in this figure with their appropriate names relating to their functions. Dependent features correspond to one another. The medium in height sock top should be slightly above the ankle top bone area. The sock system provides the ability for the use of straps on mid-cut collar which replace laces and provides a Free Lace Frontier. The straps help keep firm fit in every movement. The Grip Skins on lace free area and upper creates more control. Mud Armors work with the Grass Creeper Sole 2in1 to prevent mud stick because they made from similar materials. The Mud Armors should be made with some sort of reflective material or print that prevents mud stick to assist the non-mud stick soleplate.

[0015] FIG. 3Is the top view of the invention with labels. The invention shape is designed according to the normal human foot shape. The forefoot should be soft to provide natural feel. The cleat shape is wider in the forefoot and narrower in the rear. The forefoot is a bit round and long to accommodate wider feet while at the same time long straight feet creating a true-to-size fit using Knit-tech which is a genuinely friendly material which wants to work with your foot shape to define its true mold. Grip Skins should be stuck on Free Lace Frontier, have the same size for good contact coverage. The Royal Pattern Print serves as the upper identification and should also be made of Grip Skin. All Grip Skin areas on the upper should be of similar materials to maintain familiar feel on the ball. The free lace area should be a reasonable size, enough to allow easy fit in stretch, quick lockdown with surrounding Royal Pattern Print, providing deeper control in the strike zone.

[0016] FIG. 4Is the bottom view of the invention with labels. The studs are round of nature and scattered accordingly to provide stability, reduce stud pressure and eliminate cuts (wounds) which sharp studs may cause. Round studs also give the ability for fast movement and quick turns. Furthermore, the invention has sole boosts running in between the studs to create agility by providing a boost of energy. The Sole Boost should be made with carbon fiber materials which create energy. The studs and sole boosts in forefoot are thinner than its rear counterpart because the forefoot studs are used for acceleration and ball control plus an additional middle stud even smaller and shorter for deeper ball stop control. The rear studs serve as brakes and need more support because it holds a greater force from the human heels. Therefore, the bigger studs and sole boosts should be in the rear to prevent heel pressure.

[0017] FIG. 5Is the rear view of the invention with labels. This figure shows the Cleat Flag, which serves as a heel hook and cushion on the inside of the invention and again heel hook on the outside but this time also cleat identification. The Cleat Flag and inside heel hook should be made with synthetic leather for comfort, stable stand and durability. Than stitched from the rear sock top section till the mid-cut collar and its remaining part glued, for durability and strength.

[0018] FIG. 6Is the perspective view of Mid-cut Collar Straps open of the invention with labels. This view shows the Mid-cut Collar Straps function. Both straps should be the same size, with their tips reaching the free lace area. Have an open limit almost midway to provide control and quick fit-in, while preventing stretching with its remaining part stitched and not able to open. Both straps should be linked and stitched through the mid-cut collar and placed on mid-cut collar or just below away from ankle bones to create a secure comfortable fit since most material stretching happens in this area during movement. The Mid-cut Collar Straps work with a mechanism similar to the Velcro System, the hooks are fixed while the loops open and close. The hooks and loops (straps) should have good quality for durability like the use of polyester, should be soft, thin, and flexible. There should be two gaps in-between the hooks to facilitate quick stretch fit-in and fit-out. Knit-tech prevents over stretching so when fitting in the cleats simply open both straps, place index fingers in-between both straps, place thumbs inside cleat sock, press all fingers to open stretch the sock and angle foot a little and slide it into the cleat while using the Cleat Flag to help fit-in. Once the foot is placed in, release sock, hold straps (loops) and fasten them against the hooks. No further adjustment is needed because the Velcro System locks automatically and Knit-tech does not over stretch. This also creates a one size fits all mechanism.

[0019] FIG. 7Is the perspective view of Grass Creeper Sole 2in1 of the invention with labels. This figure makes the use of solid and broken lines to split the functions of the sole. The sole should have plastic materials and be stuck under the upper. The area covered with solid lines should have non-mud stick materials, while the areas covered with broken lines should have carbon fiber materials. This function creates an adaptive sole for different weather conditions without the need of changing cleats during the game due to climate change. Non-mud stick sole is an adaptive polymer soleplate that becomes compliant when exposed to water, helps prevent mud from sticking to soleplate. The carbon fiber areas of studs create agility on normal and wet grounds while the non-mud stick areas eliminate mud stick in wet grounds. The Sole Boosts in FIG. 4 are made with carbon fiber and run through the soleplate in between the studs to create energy and support the non-mud stick materials. First two studs on forefoot are shorter than the rest, the remaining four studs on the forefoot and the four rear studs have the same length for better stability, control, and reduced stud pressures.

[0020] Only relevant drawings of the invention description have been included to cover the inventions most fundamental elements which contribute to soccer athletes' performance and protection during the sport of soccer. All features of the invention should be positioned in appropriate areas creating comfort and flexibility where contact is found against them in the sport of soccer. This invention should be assembled similarly to modern Knit-tech cleats and take some other considerations not mentioned. Thin materials used all round, the straps and split of dependent features should be smooth and flat.

[0021] While various features of the invention work together to achieve the advantages previously described, individual features and sub-combinations of these features may obtain some of the aforementioned advantages without the necessity to adopt all of these features.

[0022] While particular embodiments of the invention have been shown and described, it is recognized that various modifications thereof will occur to those skilled in the art. Therefore, the scope of the herein-described invention shall be limited solely by the claims appended hereto.
