Abstract
A method for use of a convertible band for a cap that includes the steps of: stretching the convertible band around the perimeter of the cap; adjusting the position of the band to fit at the edge of the cap; and positioning an decorative attachment at the front of the cap. The convertible band may be used to cover a user's ears. The band may also be removed and extended to camouflage a user's face. The decorative attachment may also be interchangeable.
Claims
1. A method for use of a convertible band for a cap comprising the steps of: a. stretching the convertible band around the perimeter of the cap; b. adjusting the position of the band to fit at the edge of the cap; and c. positioning an decorative attachment at the front of the cap.
2. The method for use of a convertible band according to claim 1, further comprising stretching the convertible band to cover a user's ears.
3. The method for use of a convertible band according to claim 1, further comprising removing the band and extending the band to camouflage a user's face.
4. The method for use of a convertible band according to claim 1, further comprising removing and replacing the decorative attachment.

[0010] The present invention relates to a convertible cap band that is used to decorate and provide the users with functional aspects when placed on a conventional cap. The convertible cap band according to the present invention fits onto a traditional cap and then provides coverage of a user's ears or may be used to cover the user's face. This cap band is very suitable for use in various weather conditions but is particularly useful in the cold weather conditions to cover a user's ears. Further the band may be used for hunting purposes where the band camouflages the user's face while on a hunting expedition.
