Abstract
A system for mounting an anchor into a concrete structure that includes: an adaptor, where the adaptor includes a bit; a bit stem at a first end of the bit; a socket at a second end of the bit, where the socket is adapted to receive an anchor; and a retaining hole within the socket to retain the socket on the bit. The socket includes an opening to receive the anchor, wherein the anchor include a plurality of openings and a stem extending from a first end.
Claims
1. A system for mounting an anchor into a concrete structure comprising: a. an adaptor, where the adaptor includes a bit; b. a bit stem at a first end of the bit, wherein the bit stem includes an elongated opening; c. a socket at a second end of the bit, where the socket is adapted to receive an anchor, wherein the anchor includes a stem at a first end of the anchor and a longitudinal opening at a second; d. a retaining hole within the socket to retain the socket on the bit; and e. an opening within the socket to receive the stem of the anchor.

[0010] The present invention relates to a system for anchoring a cement anchor into place. Further invention includes a SDS adaptor that includes a bit with a socket for adaptation onto a concrete anchor. The socket is placed at one end of the bit and a bit stem is used at the opposing end to insert the bit into a hand drill. The bit may vary in length, therefore providing various sizes based upon application. This particular invention places the bit into a hand drill and then allows for the insertion of the anchor which is inserted into the socket.
