Abstract
A hand-held device that removes shells from eggs that have been hard boiled. The hand-held device includes a container. The container is egg-shaped, receives the eggs that have been hard boiled, and remove the shells from the eggs that have been hard boiled.
Claims
1. A hand-held device for removing shells from eggs that have been hard boiled, comprising: a container; wherein said container is egg-shaped; wherein said container is for receiving the eggs that have been hard boiled; and wherein said container is for removing the shells from the eggs that have been hard boiled.
2. The hand-held device of claim 1, wherein said container has: a) a lower portion; b) an upper portion; and c) a connecting portion; and wherein said connecting portion of said container replaceably attaches said upper portion of said container to said lower portion of said container.
3. The hand-held device of claim 2, wherein said lower portion of said container includes a footing; and wherein said footing of said lower portion of said container is for resting on a support surface.
4. The hand-held device of claim 3, wherein said lower portion of said container includes a base; and wherein said base of said lower portion of said container extends upwardly from said footing of said lower portion of said container.
5. The hand-held device of claim 4, wherein said lower portion said container includes a lower cup; wherein said lower cup of said lower portion of said container extends upwardly from said base of said lower portion of said container to an open and circular rim; wherein said lower cup of said lower portion of said container is half egg-shaped for receiving the eggs that have been hard boiled; and wherein said lower cup of said lower portion of said container is for removing the shells from the eggs that have been hard boiled.

The hand-held device of claim 5, wherein said lower cup of said lower portion of said container includes: a) an interior; and b) a plurality of spikes; and wherein said plurality of spikes of said lower cup of said lower portion of said container extend inwardly from said interior of said lower cup of said lower portion of said container for removing the shells from the eggs that have been hard boiled.

The hand-held device of claim 5, wherein said lower portion of said container includes a connecting ring; and wherein said connecting ring of said lower portion of said container extends coaxially from said open and circular rim of said lower cup of said lower portion of said container, and is maintained thereat;

The hand-held device of claim 7, wherein said lower portion of said container includes a resilient leak prevention band; and wherein said resilient leak prevention band of said lower portion of said container encircles underneath said connecting ring of said lower portion of said container, and in so doing, provides a leak-proof attachment between said upper portion of said container and said lower portion of said contain, especially when shook.
9. The hand-held device of claim 8, wherein said upper portion of said container includes an upper cup; wherein said upper cup of said upper portion of said container has an open and circular rim; wherein said upper cup of said upper portion of said container extends upwardly from said lower cup of said lower portion of said container, with said open and circular rim of said upper portion of said container engaging to said open and circular rim of said lower portion of said container; wherein said upper cup of said upper portion of said container is half egg-shaped for receiving the eggs that have been hard boiled; and wherein said upper cup of said upper portion of said container is for removing the shells from the eggs that have been hard boiled.
10. The hand-held device of claim 9, wherein said upper portion of said container includes a grip ring; and wherein said grip ring of said upper portion of said container extends upwardly from said upper cup of said upper portion of said container.
11. The hand-held device of claim 10, wherein said grip ring of said upper portion of said container contains a plurality of apertures vertically spaced equally threrearound.
12. The hand-held device of claim 10, wherein said upper portion of said container includes a cap; and wherein said cap of said upper portion of said container extends upwardly and coaxially from said grip ring of said upper portion of said container.
13. The hand-held device of claim 11, wherein said cap of said upper portion of said container is provided with depending pins; and wherein said depending pins of said cap of said upper portion of said container are inserted into said plurality of apertures of said grip ring of said upper portion of said container, respectively.
14. The hand-held device of claim 9, wherein said upper cup of said upper portion of said container includes an interior and a plurality of spikes; and wherein said plurality of spikes of said upper cup of said upper portion of said container extend inwardly from, and cover, said interior of said upper cup of said upper portion of said container for removing the shells from the eggs that have been hard boiled.
