    Abstract

    A device for shielding toes includes a plurality of cavities located at a top portion of the device. A plurality of insoles located within each the plurality of cavities. A substantially flat platform, the substantially flat platform having an upper end and a lower end. The lower end of the substantially flat platform is curved in shape. The substantially flat platform extends a predetermined length from a lower end of each of the plurality of cavities. A padding material, the padding material being disposed inside the plurality of cavities and on the substantially flat platform. The device is configured to protect the toes for pains and aches while wearing footwear. The device for shielding toes may be useful for preventing pain when wearing foot apparel.

    Claims

    1. A device for shielding toes, the device comprising: a plurality of cavities, said plurality of cavities located at a top portion of said device; a plurality of insoles, said plurality of insoles located in said top portion of said device; and wherein each of said plurality of insoles is located within each said plurality of cavities; a substantially flat platform, said substantially flat platform having an upper end and a lower end; and wherein said substantially flat platform extends a predetermined length from a lower end of each of said plurality of cavities; a padding material, said padding material being disposed inside said plurality of cavities and on said substantially flat platform; wherein said lower end of said substantially flat platform is curved in shaped; and wherein said device is configured to protect said toes from pains and aches while wearing footwear.

    2. The device of claim 1, wherein each of said plurality of cavities is a different size.

    3. The device of claim 1, wherein said plurality of cavities includes 5 of said plurality of cavities.

    4. The device of claim 1, wherein each of said plurality of cavities is connected to another of said plurality of cavities.

    5. The device of claim 1, wherein said padding material is made of flexible material.

    6. The device of claim 1, wherein said padding material is made of moisture-wicking material configured to provide comfort.

    7. The device of claim 1, wherein each of said plurality of cavities extends a length of each of said toes.

    8. The device of claim 1, wherein said plurality of cavities is five distinct toe sections.

    9. The device of claim 1, wherein said device is configured to protect toenail polish from chipping.

    10. The device of claim 1, wherein said moisture-wicking material is configured to provide cooling of said toes.

    11. The device of claim 1, wherein said plurality of cavities is configured to provide a snug fit to said toes.

    12. The device of claim 1, wherein said device is made of a spandex and polyester blend.

    13. The device of claim 1, wherein said plurality of cavities and said substantially flat platform is integrally connected.

    14. The device of claim 1, wherein each of said plurality of said insoles has a predetermined thickness.

    15. The device of claim 1, wherein each of said plurality of insoles is located at an upper end of each of said plurality of cavities.

    16. The device of claim 1, wherein said plurality of cavities and said plurality of insoles are integrally connected.

    17. A device for shielding toes, the device comprising: a plurality of cavities, said plurality of cavities located at a top portion of said device; a plurality of insoles, said plurality of insoles located in said top portion of said device and wherein each of said plurality of insoles is located within each said plurality of cavities; a substantially flat platform, said substantially flat platform having an upper end and a lower end and wherein said substantially flat platform extends a predetermined length from a lower end of each of said plurality of cavities; a padding material, said padding material being disposed inside said plurality of cavities and on said substantially flat platform; wherein said lower end of said substantially flat platform is curved in shaped; wherein said device is configured to protect said toes from pains and aches while wearing footwear; wherein each of said plurality of cavities is a different size; wherein said plurality of cavities includes 5 said plurality of cavities; wherein each of said plurality of cavities is connected to another of said plurality of cavities; wherein said padding material is made of flexible material; wherein said padding material is made of moisture-wicking material configured to provide comfort; wherein each of said plurality of cavities extends a length of each of said toes; wherein said plurality of cavities comprises five distinct toe sections; wherein said device is configured to protect toenail polish from chipping; wherein said moisture-wicking material is configured to provide cooling of said toes; wherein said plurality of cavities is configured to provide a snug fit to said toes; wherein said device is made of a spandex and polyester blend; wherein said plurality of cavities and said substantially flat platform is integrally connected; wherein each of said plurality of said insoles has a predetermined thickness; wherein each of said plurality of insoles is located at an upper end of each of said plurality of cavities; and wherein said plurality of cavities and said plurality of insoles are integrally connected.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

    [0018] As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a foot apparel and more particularly to a device for shielding toes as used to improve the shielding of toes.

    [0019] Generally, a device for shielding toes includes a plurality of cavities located at a top portion of the device. Each of the plurality of cavities may be a different size. Each of the plurality of cavities may be connected to another of the plurality of cavities. The plurality of cavities may include five cavities in preferred embodiments. The plurality of cavities may comprise five distinct toe sections. The cavities may be configured to provide a snug fit to the toes. Each of the plurality of cavities may extend a length of each of the (respective) toes. A plurality of insoles may be located within each the plurality of cavities. The plurality of cavities and the plurality of insoles may be integrally connected. Each of the plurality of insoles may have a predetermined thickness. The plurality of insoles may be located at an upper end of each of the plurality of cavities. The substantially flat platform has an upper end and a lower end. The lower end of the substantially flat platform is curved in shape. The plurality of cavities and the substantially flat platform may be integrally connected. The substantially flat platform extends a predetermined length from a lower end of each of the plurality of cavities.     [0021] FIG. 1 shows a device for shielding toes 100 during an in-use condition 50, according to a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure. Here, the device may be beneficial for use by a user 40 to shield toes. As illustrated, the device for shielding toes 100 may include a plurality of cavities 110 (FIG. 3) configured to receive insertion of toes 41 of a user's foot 42. As shown, each of the plurality of cavities 110 may be a different size to correspondingly fit each of the plurality of toes 41 of a user's foot 42. The plurality of cavities 110 may include five of the plurality of cavities 110 defining five distinct toe sections. Each of the plurality of cavities 110 may be integrally connected to another of the plurality of cavities 110. Each of the plurality of cavities 110 may be made of a flexible material configured to conform to the toes 41 of a user 40. The plurality of cavities 110 may be integrally connected to an upper end 150 (FIG. 3) of a substantially flat platform 140 (FIG. 3). The device for shielding toes 100 may be configured to protect toenail polish 43 from chipping as an exemplary use.

    [0022] Referring now to FIG. 2 showing a device for shielding toes 100 during an in-use condition 50, according to a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure. Here the device 100 is illustrated as being affixed to each foot 42 of a user 40. The device for shielding toes 100 may include a plurality of cavities 110 defining five distinct toe sections. Each of the five distinct toe sections of the plurality of cavities 110 may be of a different size. The toe sections of the plurality of cavities 110 may be configured to correspondingly fit the various sizes of toes 41 on a user's foot 42. The each of the plurality of cavities 110 may be configured to extend a length of each of the toes 41 of a user's foot 42. Each of the plurality of cavities 110 may be made of a flexible material configured to conform to the toes 41 of a user's foot 42. The device for shielding toes 100 may provide protection from the toes 41 of a user 40 from incurring lacerations through abrasive contact and impact interactions.

    [0023] FIG. 3 shows the device for shielding toes 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the device for shielding toes 100 may include a substantially flat platform 140 comprising an upper end of the substantially flat platform 150 and a lower end of the substantially flat platform 160. A lower end of each of the plurality of cavities 170 may be integrally connected to the upper end of the substantially flat platform 150. The plurality of cavities 110 is located at the top portion 120 of the device for shielding toes 100 and distally aligned to the lower end of the substantially flat platform 160. A padding material 80 may be disposed on the substantially flat platform 140. A padding material 80 may also be disposed inside the plurality of cavities 110. The padding material may be made of a flexible material configured to conform to the toes 41 (FIG. 1) of a user 40. The padding material may be non-abrasive and soft. The padding material 80 may be made of a moisture-wicking material configured to provide comfort. The moisture-wicking material may be configured to provide a snug fit to toes 41 (FIG. 1).

    [0024] Referring now to FIG. 4 is a top view of the device for shielding toes 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As illustrated, each of the plurality of cavities 110 may further comprise an upper end 190 of the plurality of cavities 110 and a lower end 170 of the plurality of cavities 110. Each of the plurality of cavities 110 may include a plurality of insoles 130 disposed across the upper end of the plurality of cavities 190. The plurality of insoles 130 may have a predetermined thickness. The predetermined thickness of the plurality of insoles 130 may be configured to provide a snug fit of the toes 41 (FIG. 1) and retain the plurality of cavities 110 on a user's (FIG. 1) foot 42 (FIG. 1). A padding material 80 may be disposed across, and integrally connected to the substantially flat platform 140.

    [0025] FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the device for shielding toes 100 of FIG. 1 during an in-use condition 50, according to a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure. As illustrated, the preferred embodiment of the device for shielding toes 100 may involve a user 40 wearing the device for shielding toes 100 under another piece of foot apparel 43. The plurality of cavities 110 may be affixed to the toes 41 (FIG. 1) of a user's foot 42 (FIG. 1). In the present embodiment, the toes 41 of a user 40 are shielded from rubbing against abrasive material of the shoe 43. Toenail polish 43 potentially worn by a user 40 may be protected from chipping due to abrasive contact and impact interactions.
