<i>Aubrieta </i>plant named ‘Doaubropuim’

Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of Aubrieta plant named Doaubropuim, characterized by its compact, upright and mounding to eventually creeping plant habit; moderately vigorous growth habit; freely branching habit; dense and bushy habit; early and freely flowering habit; purple-colored flowers; and good garden performance.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS

(1) The accompanying colored photographs illustrate the overall appearance of the new Aubrieta plant showing the colors as true as it is reasonably possible to obtain in colored reproductions of this type. Colors in the photographs may differ slightly from the color values cited in the detailed botanical description which accurately describe the colors of the new Aubrieta plant.

(2) The photograph on the first sheet (FIG. 1) is a side perspective view of a typical flowering plant of Doaubropuim grown in a container.

(4) The aforementioned photographs and following observations and measurements describe plants grown during the early spring in 17-cm containers in an outdoor nursery in Aalsmeer, The Netherlands and under cultural practices typical of commercial Aubrieta production. During the production of the plants, average daily temperatures were 15C and average night temperatures were 4C. Plants were 35 weeks old when the photographs and description were taken.
