12. Device according to claim 9, wherein said syringe contains fluid product, a piston rigidly attached to an actuating rod being provided to dispense said fluid product.
Description
[0023] These advantages and features and others of the present invention will appear more clearly during the following detailed description, made in reference to the accompanying drawings, given as non-limiting examples, and wherein

[0034] The present invention will be described below in reference to three embodiments, but it is understood that other embodiments could be considered.
[0035]
[0036] Conventionally, suitable dispensing means can be provided in said syringe 1 to dispense its content. Typically, these dispensing means comprise a piston 2 rigidly attached to an actuating rod 3 actuated by the user at the time of dispensing. Naturally, different dispensing means could be considered, for example automatic dispensing means, of the auto-injector type. However, these dispensing means not intervening directly in the present invention, they will not be described in more detail below.
[0037] The spray head 10 comprises a body 11 provided with a spray hole 12. Preferably, as represented in the drawings, the spray head 10 is of the nasal type, with an extended body 11 to penetrate into a nostril and the spray hole 12 disposed at the distal axial end of said body, in the flow direction of the fluid product during actuation. Advantageously, an insert 13 is disposed upstream of the spray hole 12 to generate a spray, for example by means of a well-known spray profile (not represented in the drawings).
[0038] The body 11 is rigidly attached to a connecting member 15, which defines a central axial channel 16 and which comprises fixing means 17 to be fixed onto a reservoir 1, in particular a syringe body as represented in
[0039] Advantageously, the fixing means 17 are adapted to engage with a standard Luer-type fixing 5 provided on the front end of the syringe 1. In a well-known manner, and as can be seen in
[0040] To avoid the spray head 10 being able to be easily dismounted from the syringe 1, the spray head 10 can advantageously comprise an external ring g 30 mounted rotatably around the connecting member 15 in the same way as a ratchet. During the assembly of the spray head 10 on the syringe 1, the external ring 30 is rotated clockwise, which makes it possible to screw the connecting member 15 in the standard Luer-type fixing 5 of the syringe 1. When the external ring 30 is rotated anticlockwise, it rotates into the vacuum, thus preventing dismounting the spray head 10 from the syringe 1.
[0041] According to the invention, the spray head comprises at least one valve 20, 40 forming precompression means making it possible to generate a calibrated spray through the spray hole 12.
[0042] In the first embodiment, represented in
[0043] The valve element 21 is made of deformable material, for example rubber, and engages in the actuating position with a valve seat 22 comprising truncated-shaped axial projections 23, each provided with a flat peak 24 and separated by at least one groove 25. When the device is actuated, the fluid product which flows along the arrow F in
[0044]
[0045] It must be noted that the embodiment of
[0046]
[0047] The first valve 20 can be identical to that described above in reference to
[0048] The second valve 40 is formed by a sleeve 40 mounted so as to slide between an open position and a closed position in said connecting member 15 around an intermediate member 14. This intermediate member 14 is interposed between the connecting member 15 and the body 11. The intermediate member 14 is hollow and comprises an opening 14 that opens, in particular laterally, into said connecting member 15. A resilient element 41, such as a spring, biases said sleeve 14 to its closed position, wherein it closes off said opening 14, said sleeve 40 being moved to its open position when the flow of fluid product F is actuated based on a predetermined pressure. In this case, it is therefore the spring 41 which determines the precompression threshold above which the valve opens. Optionally, the second valve 40 could also act as an anti-re-suctioning valve, and in this case, the single valve 40 would be sufficient to perform both the precompression function and the anti-re-suctioning function.
[0049] Although the present invention has been described above with reference to several embodiments thereof, it is understood that the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and represented in the drawings, but, on the contrary, any useful modification could be applied thereto by a person skilled in the art, without going beyond the scope of the present invention, such as defined by the accompanying claims.
