Abstract
A greeting card envelope is provided. The greeting card envelope has a front and a back wherein both the front and the back (through the normal interior pouch) are capable of securing a greeting card. In particular, the front of the envelope may have a first and second securing strip for temporarily holding a greeting card for display and or for easy access and wherein the back of the greeting card envelope may secure the greeting card in a normal manner with a movable securing flap. A user may select between securing the greeting card on the front of the envelope or in the traditional manner on the back of the envelope. Further, a user may even secure two greeting cards with the same envelope.
Claims
1) A greeting card envelope comprising: a housing having a top, a bottom, a front, a back, a first side and a second side; a generally hollow interior for receiving a greeting card; wherein the back of the housing has a movable securing flap which is capable of allowing the insertion of the greeting card into the generally hollow interior and wherein the movable securing flap may be secured to the back of the housing; and a first securing strip and a second securing strip wherein the first securing strip and the second securing strip are located on the front of the housing and wherein the first securing strip and the second securing strip together are capable of temporarily securing the greeting card to the front of the housing.
2) The greeting card envelope of claim 1 wherein the first securing strip and second securing strip are secured to the bottom of the housing and not secured to the top of the housing.
3) The greeting card envelope of claim 1 wherein the greeting card may be secured on the front of the housing or within the generally hollow interior of the housing.
4) The greeting card envelope of claim 1 further comprising: a distance between the first securing strip and the second securing strip wherein the distance is less than a length of the greeting card.
