    Abstract

The present invention is a pipe used for smoking with a hollow, vented shaft that can puncture another object, the object then, becomes the body of the pipe. The core components of the invention are the bowl and a vented hollow shaft with a tip suitable for puncturing or penetrating another object, which, generally speaking, is configured as follows: The bowl with a hole in the bottom to allow smoke to pass through is attached to the shaft. The pointed end of the shaft is sharp enough to easily penetrate an object such as a plastic bottle. Vents in the shaft allow the smoke to pass from the bowl through the shaft and into the object. Ribs on the outside of the shaft act as a bung to seal the hole made by the shaft. The invention can be used to make a larger pipe out of common everyday items such as water, cola and creamer bottles. The user will light a combustible material within the bowl and draw the smoke through the mouthpiece of the object. When the user is finished smoking, the user removes the shaft from the object and can either keep or dispose of the punctured object.

    Claims

    1. A smoking pipe with a transformable shaft comprised of: a bowl with attached ribs, threaded to accept a shaft, tip or mouthpiece, a hollow shaft threaded on both ends that can accept a bowl, tip, mouthpiece or another shaft to extend the length, a hollow tip that is sharpened and threaded to accept a bowl or shaft, the tip has a threaded hole in the side to accept the shaft and is threaded at one end to accept a bowl or shaft, a removable grip that attaches to the shaft and allows the pipe to stand upright.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0026] The present invention is directed to a smoking pipe with a sharpened shaft.

[0027] In its most complete version, the present invention is made up of the following components: A bowl with a threaded hole in the bottom is attached to a threaded hollow shaft. The bowl is also threaded on the outside where a threaded piece of artwork with an integrated lid is threaded onto the bowl. The integrated lid has a hole so that the bowl can be used while the lid is closed. The interior of the bowl has a slight ridge which helps lock a replaceable screen in place. Below the threaded part of the shaft connected to the bowl are cone-shaped ribs. The shaft is bent at an angle and there are several vents in the side of the shaft nearest the tip. The tip is cut off at an angle and beveled to sharp edges ending in a point. It should further be noted that: The preferred material is stainless steel for its affordability and ability to maintain an edge.

[0028] While the present invention has been described above in terms of specific embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to these disclosed embodiments. Many modifications and other embodiments of the invention will come to mind of those skilled in the art to which this invention pertains, and which are intended to be and are covered by both this disclosure and the appended claims. It is indeed intended that the scope of the invention should be determined by proper interpretation and construction of the appended claims and their legal equivalents, as understood by those of skill in the art relying upon the disclosure in this specification and the attached drawings.
