HAIR BAND DEVICE

Abstract

A hair band device having a head covering assembly including a headband and a securing band. The headband is configured to wrap around a crown of a head of a user-wearer. The securing band configured to wrap around a nape of a neck of a user-wearer secure the headband to the head of the user-wearer. The hair band device provides a foundation for securing a hair-piece to the head of the user-wearer and conceals baldness during an in-use condition. The device helps support thinning edges, offering a way for individuals to conveniently cover up thin hairlines.

Claims

1. A hair band device comprising: a head covering assembly including; a headband configured to wrap around a crown of a head of a user-wearer; and a securing band configured to wrap around a nape of a neck of a user-wearer secure said headband to said head of said user-wearer; wherein said a first-end of said headband is fixed to a first-securing-band-end of said securing band and a second-end of said headband is fixed to a second-securing-band-end of said securing band; and wherein said hair band device provides a foundation for securing a hair-piece to said head of said user-wearer and conceals baldness during an in-use condition.

2. The hair band device of claim 1, wherein said headband comprises hair extensions.

3. The hair band device of claim 1, wherein said securing band is attached to said headband at an elastic strip located on said first-end of said headband and said second-end of said headband.

4. The hair band device of claim 3, wherein said head covering assembly is stretchable at said elastic strip to conform with a shape of the head of the user-wearer.

5. The hair band device of claim 1, wherein said head covering assembly has a circumference approximately equal to a head-circumference of said head of said user-wearer.

6. The hair band device of claim 5, wherein said securing band is stretchable circumferentially about said head-circumference of said head of said user-wearer to conform with the shape of the head of the user-wearer.

7. The hair band device of claim 6, wherein said securing band is elasticized.

8. The hair band device of claim 1, wherein said securing band comprises a first-section and a second-section.

9. The hair band device of claim 8, wherein said first-section and said second-section cross over creating an x-shaped said securing band that is placed on said nape of said neck for strong support.

10. The hair band device of claim 1, wherein said head covering assembly comprises a head covering.

11. The hair band device of claim 10, wherein said head covering comprises a full said head covering.

12. The hair band device of claim 10, wherein said head covering comprises a partial said head covering.

13. The hair band device of claim 10, wherein said head covering comprises a cornrow-shaped cap.

14. The hair band device of claim 1, wherein said headband and said securing band are flexible.

15. The hair band device of claim 1, wherein an outer surface of said headband is configured to receive fasteners and support said hair-piece on said head of said user-wearer.

16. The hair band device of claim 1, wherein said headband is positioned along a natural hairline of said user-wearer during said in-use condition.

17. The hair band device of claim 1, wherein said hair-piece is selected from the group consisting of a wig, a weave, and crochet hair.

18. A hair band device, the hair band device comprising: a head covering assembly including; a headband configured to wrap around a crown of a head of a user-wearer; and a securing band configured to wrap around a nape of a neck of a user-wearer secure said headband to said head of said user-wearer; wherein said a first-end of said headband is fixed to a first-securing-band-end of said securing band and a second-end of said headband is fixed to a second-securing-band-end of said securing band; wherein said securing band is attached to said headband at an elastic strip located on said first-end of said headband and said second-end of said headband; wherein said head covering assembly is stretchable at said elastic strip to conform with a shape of the head of the user-wearer; wherein said head covering assembly has a circumference approximately equal to a head-circumference of said head of said user-wearer; wherein said securing band is stretchable circumferentially about said head-circumference of said head of said user-wearer to conform with the shape of the head of the user-wearer; wherein said securing band is elasticized; wherein said securing band comprises a first-section and a second-section; wherein said first-section and said second-section cross over creating an x-shaped said securing band that is placed on said nape of said neck for strong support; wherein said head covering assembly comprises a head covering; wherein said headband and said securing band are flexible; wherein an outer surface of said headband is configured to receive fasteners and support said hair-piece on said head of said user-wearer; wherein said hair band device provides a foundation for securing a hair-piece to said head of said user-wearer and conceals baldness during an in-use condition; wherein said headband is positioned along a natural hairline of said user-wearer during said in-use condition; and wherein said hair-piece is selected from the group consisting of a wig, a weave, and crochet hair.

19. A method of using a hair band device, the method comprising the steps of: providing a head covering assembly; applying said head covering assembly to a head of a user-wearer; securing a securing band; and applying a hair-piece.

20. The method of claim 19, further comprising the steps of: removing said hair piece; and removing said head covering assembly.

[0017] As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a hair accessory and more particularly to a hair band device as used to improve the use of head covering(s) means to hide thin hairlines and secure a wig.

[0018] Generally, the present invention provides women with a hair band designed to hide thinning hairlines and bald edges on the head. It offers support with two elastic strips supporting the top right and left sides of the band. It includes an elastic strip wrapping around the nape of the neck in order to give leverage and offer comfort, ensuring the band will stay in one position without moving on the head. It supports various types of wigs and weaves, allowing users to customize their hairstyle.

[0019] The present invention virtually eliminates the worry of losing a wig or weave while outdoors. Hair band device is a hair band for the crown of the head. The device helps support thinning edges, offering a way for individuals to conveniently cover up thin hairlines and bald heads. The hairband supports a sew-in weave and/or crochet hair without worry of any loose-fitting hair being moved when occupied on the head. There are five different cornrow-shaped caps that fits the hairline to the crown of the head. The band is designed with an X-shaped elastic strip that is placed on the nape of the neck for strong position and support. An ear to ear version may be provided with a full hairline for users who may have compromised hairlines or no hair at all. The device may be used for medical purposes such as for cancer patients and alopecia patients. The hair band device can be designed with standard size and adjustable straps to fit various size heads.

FIG. 1 shows a hair band device 100 during an in-use condition 150, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As illustrated, the hair band device 100 may include head covering assembly 110 including a headband 112 and a securing band 130. The headband 112 is configured to wrap around a crown of a head of a user-wearer 140. The securing band 130 is configured to wrap around a nape of a neck of the user-wearer 140 secure the headband to the head of the user-wearer 140. A first-end 114 of the headband 112 is fixed to a first-securing-band-end 132 of the securing band 130 and a second-end 116 of the headband 112 is fixed to a second-securing-band-end 134 of the securing band 130. The hair band device 100 provides a foundation for securing a hair-piece 10 to the head of the user-wearer 140 and conceals baldness during an in-use condition. The device 100 helps support thinning edges, offering a way for individuals to conveniently cover up thin hairlines.

As above, the hair band device 100 may include the head covering assembly 110 including the headband 112 and the securing band 130. The securing band 130 is attached to the headband 112 at an elastic strip 120 located on the first-end 114 of the headband 112 and the second-end 116 of the headband 112. The head covering assembly 110 is stretchable at the elastic strip 120 to conform with a shape of the head of the user-wearer 140. The head covering assembly 110 has a circumference approximately equal to a head-circumference of the head of the user-wearer 140. The securing band 130 is stretchable circumferentially about the head-circumference of the head of the user-wearer 140 to conform with the shape of the head of the user-wearer 140.

As above, the hair band device 100 may include the headband 112 and the securing band 130 configured to be secured around a head and conceal baldness as well as support a wig or other hair-piece 10. The securing band 130 is elasticized. The securing band 130 comprises a first-section 136 and a second-section 138. The first-section 136 and the second-section 138 cross over creating an x-shaped securing band 130 that is placed on the nape of the neck for strong support. An outer surface of the headband 112 is configured to receive fasteners and support the hair-piece 10 on the head of the user-wearer 140. The head covering assembly 110 may include a partial head covering 160 or full head covering 160. The head covering 160 comprises a cornrow-shaped cap.

As above, the hair band device 100 may include the head covering assembly 110 having the headband 112 and the securing band 130. The headband 112 and the securing band 130 are flexible. The headband 112 is positioned along a natural hairline of the user-wearer 140 during the in-use condition. The hair-piece 10 may include a wig, a sew-in weave, crochet hair, or other hair-piece 10 selected by a user-wearer. The headband 112 may include hair extensions attachments in a variety of styles.

As illustrated, the method of using a hair band device 500 may include the steps of: step one 501, providing a head covering assembly 110; step two 502, applying the head covering assembly 110 to a head of a user-wearer 140; step three 503, securing a securing band 130; step four 504, applying a hair-piece 10, step five 505, removing the hair piece 10; and step six 506, removing the head covering assembly 110.
