    Abstract

A nail tip guide tool is attached to an end of a nose of a nailing machine to provide guide pieces on a bottom surface inside same, the nail guide tool having a lower portion in a funnel shape. The top surfaces of the guide pieces have a recess in a mortar shape when brought together at the center of the funnel shape by a press board member biased by a coil spring. The guide pieces are used so that in the nose, the tip of a nail in an inclined posture is guided to a center of the mortar shape and is inserted thereamong, and correcting the posture thereof. For fastening a metal piece with a nail, distal ends of the guide pieces are structured to form a conical shape, and with this portion having been fitted into a pilot hole of the metal piece, the nail is struck.

    Claims

    1. A nail tip guide tool of a nailing machine, which is used by being mounted to a tip portion of a nose portion forming a passage for driving out various nails from an air nailing machine, the nail tip guide tool comprising: a guide piece molded such that when a plurality of guide pieces are gathered together at a central portion of an inclined bottom surface of a funnel-shaped container, a mortar-shaped recess portion is formed at a central portion of an upper surface of an aggregate of the plurality of guide pieces; a protrusion portion provided on an outer peripheral portion of the upper surface of the guide piece and fitted into a recessed rail radially provided on a lower surface of a torus-shaped press board; a coil spring having extension elasticity is fitted into both a circular groove for receiving the coil spring, which is provided on an upper surface of the press board, and a circular groove for receiving the coil spring, which is provided on a lower surface of a lid of the funnel-shaped container; the lid of the funnel-shaped container and the funnel-shaped container are joined together by screw threads provided at the lid and the funnel-shaped container; the nailing machine and the nail tip guide tool are joined together by a screw thread provided at the lid of the funnel-shaped container to correspond to a screw thread provided at an outer peripheral portion of a tip of the nose portion of the nailing machine; a tip of a nail driven in a tilted posture from the nose is guidable to a central portion of the mortar-shaped recess portion; and the nail is capable of being pushed in at a position of the central portion of the mortar-shaped recess portion so that the plurality of guide pieces are pushed and expanded to right and left and grip and surround a nail shaft portion of the driven nail to straighten the posture of the nail.

    2. The nail tip guide tool of a nailing machine according to claim 1, wherein an inclination angle of the inclined bottom surface portion of the funnel-shaped container is approximately 45°, and a number of the plurality of guide pieces is 3.

    3. The nail tip guide tool of a nailing machine according to claim 1, wherein a through-hole having a diameter smaller than a shaft diameter of the nail to be used is provided from a bottom portion of a center of the mortar-shaped recess portion formed by gathering the plurality of guide pieces toward the central portion to lower end portions of the plurality of guide pieces.

    4. The nail tip guide tool of a nailing machine according to claim 1, wherein in a state where the guide pieces are gathered at a center, lower end portions of the gathered guide pieces form a conical shape, and a conical portion protrudes from a lower end portion of the funnel-shaped container.

    5. The nail tip guide tool of a nailing machine according to claim 1, wherein in a state where the guide pieces are gathered at a center, lower end portions of the gathered guide pieces are located at a same level as or higher than a lower end portion of the funnel-shaped container.

    6. A nailing machine with a nail tip guide tool, in which the nail tip guide tool according to claim 1 is mounted to a nose portion of an air nailing machine.
