    3. A method for forming a knitted surface with a plurality of threads in which each thread has a plurality of rings spaced from each other along the thread, the method comprising: aligning a pair of threads with each other in separate rows, one of the pair of threads being aligned rearwardly of another of the pair of threads; looping the rings of the rearward thread through the rings of the another of the pair of threads, the rings of the looped pair of threads having no needles or hooks therein; repeating the steps of aligning and looping with additional threads of the plurality of threads until the knitted surface is obtained; and sealing off the plurality of threads after the knitted surface is obtained.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

    [0017] The thread (1) subject to the invention which is used to obtain a large surfaced knitted item without using knitting apparatus such as crochet hooks, knitting needles etc., comprises a plurality of rings (2) that have a distance and size suitable to the loop size of the knitted item.

    [0018] The thread (1) subject to the invention enables any person who does not know how to knit to, to be able to knit an item by means of the rings (2) designed on the thread.

    [0019] Moreover it is easy to obtain large surfaced knitted items by means of the rings (2).

    [0020] According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the thread (1) can be produced by a fancy yarn machine, together with the rings (2) formed thereon. The rings (2) formed on the thread (1) have a certain height (x), a certain distance (y) between them and a bottom width (z). Said height (x), and distances (y, z) and the thickness of the thread (1) are designed to be in compliance with the loop size of the item to be knitted and such that they are fixed all throughout the thread (1) (FIG. 2-A).

    [0021] The method (100) for knitting where the thread (1) is used in order to obtain the desired surfaces comprises the following steps;

    [0022] ensuring that the thread (1) is aligned as two rows (FIG. 2-B),

    [0023] the rings (2) of the thread (1) that is at the rear is looped through the rings of the thread (1) at the front (FIG. 2-C),

    [0024] the above mentioned two steps are repeated until the desired sized knitted item is obtained (FIG. 2-D),

    [0025] after the desired size is reached the sealing off of the threads are performed (FIG. 2-E).

    [0026] The knitting process is completed by means of the method (100) subject to the invention and the desired size is reached (FIG. 2-F).
