    SUMMARY

[0012] A men's penis support device includes a pair of men's underwear and at least one elastic strap attached to an interior front of the men's underwear. A proximal and a distal end of the strap are attached to the underwear to create a center opening, wherein the opening is capable of holding a wearer's penis in a substantially horizontal position to a left or right direction, preventing bending or pinching. This increases constant overall blood flow through the penile shaft.

[0013] In one embodiment, the elastic strap is detachable from the underwear. In one embodiment, the elastic strap is permanently attached to the underwear.

[0014] In one embodiment, the underwear includes a first strap and a second strap, wherein a proximal end of the first strap is slanted to a right side and a proximal end of the second strap is slanted to a left side. The first strap is capable of holding the penis in a substantially horizontal position to the right direction, and the second strap is capable of holding the penis in a substantially horizontal direction to the left direction.

[0015] In one embodiment, both the underwear and the strap exert a substantially equal amount of pressure on the penile shaft, resulting in no compression of the penile shaft. This results in a penile shaft that loses no blood flow from being compressed.

[0016] In one embodiment, the proximal end of the strap is detachably attached to the underwear with a first male pushpin pushed through a fabric of the interior front of the underwear and a first female pushpin cover fit over the first male pushpin from an exterior of the underwear to hold the proximal end in place. The distal end of the strap is detachably attached to the underwear with a second male pushpin pushed through a fabric of the interior front of the underwear and a second female pushpin cover fit over the male pushpin from an exterior of the underwear to hold the distal strap end in place.

[0017] In one embodiment, the strap is about 3.5 inches to 4.5 inches in length, dependent on the underwear size in which it is being used. In one embodiment, the strap is about 1.5 inches in width. It is to be understood however, that the strap 14 can be any suitable length and/or width.

[0018] In one embodiment, the strap is made of a soft material. In one embodiment, the underwear includes a loose right leg hem and a loose left leg hem.

[0019] In one embodiment, a men's penis support device includes at least one detachable elastic strap configured to be attached to an interior front of a man underwear. A proximal and a distal end of the strap are attached to the underwear to create a center opening. The opening is capable of holding a wearer's penis in a substantially horizontal position to a left or right direction.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0020] The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.

[0021] Current men's underwear often results in interrupted blood flow or lack of constant blood flow to the human penis. Lack of proper blood flow often leads to long term atrophy of the penile tissue and/or erectile dysfunction. The invention claimed here solves this problem.

[0022] Broadly, an embodiment of the present invention provides a pair of men's underwear with at least one interior strap, through which the penis is placed. The penis may be positioned to the left or right, depending on the user's comfort. Advantageously, this keeps the penis against the leg in a substantially horizontal position to about a 5 m left or 7 m right position. The warmth of the leg further stimulates and encourages blood flow throughout the day. This results in reduced or no twisting or scrunching of the penis, as is the case in conventional underwear. This extended and supported position of the penis allows for unrestricted and constant blood flow to the penile artery. The penile artery provides blood to the penis, and subdivides into three arteries; the bulbourethral artery, the dorsal artery, and the cavernosal artery.

[0023] This constant, uninterrupted blood flow and lack of pinching, bending, twisting, crushing, and mushrooming throughout the day also allows for the penile tissues to remain properly oxygenated without compressing the cavernous arteries and veins. This results in a healthier penile shaft.

[0024] The claimed invention differs from what currently exists. All current men's underwear have no support or intended directional support for the penis shaft for the duration of wear, thus causing the penis shaft to be bent, twisted, or crushed. The penis is most often crushed, where the head of the penis is pushed directly backwards or into the flaccid penis shaft. This is very unhealthy for the penile tissue and restricts blood flow throughout the day, thus contributing to many men's penile issues including, but not limited to penis atrophy over the years and certain levels of erectile dysfunction. The described invention prevents the preceding and keeps the penis in an unrestricted position, allowing for better and more constant blood flow through the dorsal vein throughout the entire day.

[0025] Current men's underwear is not designed for penis health, but is designed primarily for men's scrotal comfort. Current underwear may result in erectile issues, sexual problems, fertility issues, or injury without the wearer even realizing it. The current invention allows for unrestricted blood flow into the penile shaft by preventing the dorsal vein from being twisted or crushed as in standard men's underwear. Advantageously, due to the invention's directional hanging, the flaccid penile shaft may hang larger as it can engorge with more blood throughout the day. Further, the directed hanging ensures that there is no pinching or other restriction of the dorsal vein or artery, This includes virtually no pinching or other restriction of more minor veins and arteries in the penile shaft.

[0026] FIG. 1 shows on embodiment of the described invention. A pair of men's underwear 10 includes a flat front 12. Details of the interior of the underwear 10 are shown in FIG. 2. The underwear 10 includes interior slings or straps 14. A user's penis 18 is positioned through an opening of the interior strap 14 and is held in place within a front interior of the underwear 10. In the shown embodiment, the underwear 10 includes a right strap 14 and a left strap 14. The penis 18 is shown positioned through the left strap 14. In one embodiment, the underwear 10 includes only one strap 14 in either direction.

[0027] FIG. 3 shows an embodiment of the underwear 10, wherein the penis 18 is positioned through the right strap 18, thus positioning the penis substantially to the right.

[0028] In one embodiment, each strap 14 measures from about 3 inches to 4 inches in length and about 1 inches in width, depending on whether the underwear 10 is made in a small, medium, large or x-large size. It is to be understood, however, that the length and width of the straps can vary as needed.

[0029] In one embodiment, the strap 14 is attached to the interior of the underwear front at a proximal strap end and a distal strap end with the center left unattached to create an opening through which the penis is positioned. The strap 14 is attached at a slanted position to hold the penis at about a 5 m position for the left strap 14 or about a 7 m position for the right strap 14.

[0030] The embodiment of FIG. 4 shows a top view perspective of the underwear 10. The straps 14 include permanent attachment means 16 at proximal and distal ends of each strap 14. The permanent attachments include stitching, Velcro, snaps, buttons, or any suitable permanent attachment means.

[0031] The embodiment of FIG. 5 shows a cutaway of section 5-5 of FIG. 3. A sectional view of the penis 18 shows it resting and positioned against the front interior of the underwear 10. The straps 14 are permanently attached at a proximal and distal end to the underwear 10 with a permanent threading 8. The penis 18 is shown unpinched or uncompressed. Equal pressure is applied to the penis 18 through both the strap 14 and the underwear fabric, thus resulting in virtually zero compression of the penile shaft. The material of the underwear and a soft elastic material of the strap 14 accomplishes this uncompressed state.

[0032] In one embodiment, the strap material is a soft elastic that stretches in both the length and the width of the strap. The elastic is blended into a very soft cotton blend material, much like a woman's hair band. Easy stretching of both length and width gives the strap 14 the ability to allow for virtually zero pressure on the penile shaft. Substantially equal pressure from both the underwear side and the strap side on the wearer's penis, results in virtually zero compression of the penile shaft, regardless of the type of underwear.

[0033] FIG. 6 shows an alternative embodiment of the cutaway of FIG. 6, wherein the proximal and distal ends of the strap 14 are detachable from the underwear 10. The strap 14 includes a male pushpin 20 with a slight protrusion on the outside of the front of the underwear 10 when it is pushed through the underwear fabric. A female cover 22 fits over the protruding end of the pushpin 20 to secure an end of the strap 14. The pushpin 20 and female cover 22 is provided for the proximal and distal end of the strap 14. It is to be understood that the pushpin 20 points away from the body of the wearer so as to not injure the wearer's body, and it is pushed through the front of the underwear 10 through the interior fabric side. Advantageously, because the strap 14 is detachable, it can be positioned at any angle that is comfortable for the user. Once detached. strap 14 may be washed for continual daily wear.

[0034] In an alternative embodiment, a magnetic piece is sewn into the proximal and distal end of the snap 14. An opposing magnet is provided to be used from the outside of the front of the underwear 10 to hold the strap 14 in place. It is to be understood, however, that any type of comfortable detachable means can be used to connect the strap and the underwear.

[0035] Advantageously, a user can replace the strap 14 with different strap if needed. Alternatively, a user can completely remove the strap(s) 14 and use the underwear as a standard pair of underwear if desired. The detached strap 14 is shown in the embodiment of FIG. 7, wherein the pushpin 20 and the female cover 22 are unfastened.

[0036] In one embodiment, a user uses two detachable straps 14 on his own underwear. A left and right strap 14 are attached to the underwear as described in FIG. 6.

[0037] In one embodiment, the wearer alternates between a right strap and a left strap (if both are included) throughout the day for constant and even blood flow into the penis.

[0038] In one embodiment, a right and left leg hem of underwear 10 are thin and loose, thus allowing for improved circulation and blood flow into the male genitalia.

[0039] Advantageously, the loose hems allow the wearer to simply urinate out of his underwear leg hem by simply pulling the penis out and respective leg hem up. The flat front 12 has no opening for urination. The urination openings on underwear, boxers included, are more a matter of tradition and are rarely used by men today. Most men pull their underwear down from the elastic waistband and pull their penis up from its crushed position, sometimes pinching or forcibly stretching the previously crushed or bent penis shaft. This is not healthy for the penile shaft and can be a particularly uncomfortable experience. By eliminating the urination openings, the straps 14 are added without any additional fabric mass. By eliminating the urination openings, there is a net reduction of bunched fabric on the front of the underwear.

[0040] Additionally, the traditional openings are often responsible for much of the unhealthy grabbing and crushing of the penile shaft (due to the multiple layers of fabric). Further, urination holes often allow the penis head to get caught in the folds of fabric when sitting down or in the sitting down position, resulting in restricted blood flow to the penis. The flat front 12 of the underwear avoids this.

[0041] Beneficially, the underwear 10 allows a more constant, unrestricted blood flow into the penis shaft. In use, when the user puts on the underwear 10, slides his penis shaft into either the right strap or the left strap 14. The slanted position of the strap 14 allows for constant and unrestricted blood flow into the penis shaft.

[0042] The penis shaft is directed left or right from insertion into straps 14. The leg hems work in conjunction with the other components to promote unrestricted blood flow to the penis, by never binding or restricting the thigh or even penis in certain circumstances. Men with five inch or above flaccid penises may have times throughout the day that the flaccid penis drops below leg hems. The loose nature of hems allows for this with current and constant blood flow into the penile shaft to continue. Most current underwear hems further crush a man's penis.

[0043] In another embodiment, the underwear 10 is a standard pair of men's briefs and does not have loose hems.

[0044] In one embodiment, the underwear 10 is manufactured by a single seamstress, multiple seamstresses, or in a factory or facility using commercial grade sewing equipment. The underwear 10 is made of fabric of an elastic material or a mixed elastic material. The elastic used in a waistband of the underwear is heavier than a smaller soft elastic used in strap 14. Preferably, premium quality thread is used for sewing.

[0045] In an alternative embodiment, the straps 14 are used as a medical device to aid in healing of the penis before and after surgery. For instance, penis extension surgery, after receiving a Priapus shot, or adult male circumcision would be exemplary situations in which the strap 14 may be used to aid in healing and promote greater comfort for the patient. As a medical device, the straps 14 may be worn daily for weeks during the preoperative period prior to a surgery on the penile shaft to increase the health of penis. Advantageously, this may result in faster healing time after the surgery. Also, underwear 10 with permanently attached straps 14 or detachable straps 14 can be used in pre- and post-operative penis surgery patients. In one embodiment, the straps are disposable. In one embodiment, the straps are both disposable and sterile.

[0046] It should be understood, of course, that the foregoing relates to exemplary embodiments of the invention and that modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
