THREADING GUIDE

Abstract

A threading guide that includes: a closed loop at a first end; a straight blunt tip at a second end; and an elongated tapering construction between the blunt tip and the closed loop. The guide tapers from a first thickness near the closed loop to a second thickness at the blunt tip, wherein the closed loop is adapted to receive a drawstring. Preferably, the length of the guide is approximately 6 inches.

Claims

1. A threading guide comprising: a. closed loop at a first end; b. straight blunt tip at a second end; and c. an elongated tapering construction between the blunt tip and the closed loop.

2. The threading guide according to claim 1, where the guide tapers from a first thickness near the closed loop to a second thickness at the blunt tip.

3. The threading guide according to claim 1, wherein the closed loop is adapted to receive a drawstring.

4. The threading guide according to claim 1, wherein the length of the guide is approximately 6 inches.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0007] The present invention relates to a threading guide that is used to guide a drawstring through a channel or canal of clothing. The drawstring is attached to a closed loop at a first end and a blunt tip is provided at a second end of the threading device. The threading device includes an elongated tapering construction. The construction of the guide tapers from a first thickness near the closed loop to a second thickness at the blunt tip. Preferably the threading guide is approximately 6 inches in length therefore providing a suitable length to maneuver the guide through the garment channel. Further the blunt tip prevents any puncturing of the material along the canal length. As the blunt tip is guided through the canal the drawstring is pulled through attached to the closed loop.

[0008] In reference to FIG. 1, a threading guide 10 in accordance with the present invention is depicted. The threading guide 10 includes a first end that has a closed loop 12 as shown in FIG. 1. The closed loop 12 is adapted to receive a drawstring which is tied within the loop's 12 opening. At the opposing end is a blunt tip 14. The blunt tip 14 leads the guide 10 through a garment channel with a drawstring attached to the closed loop 12. The construction of the guide 10 is a tapering construction having a first thickness at the closed loop 12 and tapering down to a second thickness at the blunt tip end 14. As stated the preferred length of the threading guide is 6 inches and therefore provides a sturdy and steady threading guide for the user. The foregoing descriptions of specific embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description.
