    Abstract

    Five small holes on the top front sock specifically above the toes between the phalanges and the metatarsals joint, represent the new design, its advantage, and to solve the issue of odor problem of the toes. The pocket is to hide items, and double layers provide extra support for the leg. The invisible stitching on the ankle is part of the design helping the double layers to form a pocket and support for the leg. The stitching on the back is part of the design holding the double layers together.

    [0006] The sock with pocket and holes for articles is used to help the feet breathe better, keep fresh air on the feet, and helps the toes nails not change color.

    HOW IT IS MADE: Needles in the machine knit the socks by creating a series of loops, forming an open fabric tube. Knitting machines follow a pattern, usually coded into a bitmap design, to ensure the colors and shape of each individual sock are uniform. During the process, the machine knit the sock leaving holes on the top front to create the design holes. Then the machine knits the ankle stitching on double layers are sewn together. Next, the machine knits stitching on the top back of the sock, the double layers are sewn together to finish the job.
