Abstract
The invention relates to a trim element for interior vehicle. According to the invention, the trim element is made of glass sheet.
Claims
1. A trim element for a vehicle interior, wherein the trim element is made of glass sheet.
2. The trim element according to claim 1, wherein the glass is a glass of soda-lime-silica, aluminosilicate or borosilicate type, and the like.
3. The trim element according to claim 1, wherein the glass comprises, in a content expressed as percentages by total weight of glass: TABLE-US-00008 SiO.sub.2 55-85% Al.sub.2O.sub.3 0-30% B.sub.2O.sub.3 0-20% Na.sub.2O 0-25% CaO 0-20% MgO 0-15% K.sub.2O 0-20% BaO 0-20% [[.]] and wherein the glass is a glass of soda-lime-silica.
4. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein the glass comprises, in a content expressed as percentages by total weight of glass: 65SiO.sub.278% 5Na.sub.2O20% 0K.sub.2O<5% 1Al.sub.2O.sub.3<6% 0CaO<4.5% 4MgO12%; as well as a (MgO/(MgO+CaO)) ratio 0.5.
5. A trim element according to claim 1, further comprising functional elements which are integrated into the trim element.
6. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein the trim element comprises touch functionalities.
7. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein the trim is provided as a door cover and is a touch panel.
8. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein the trim element is provided as armrest cover.
9. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein an opening is provided on the trim element.
10. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein the trim element is made of a laminated glass and/or tempered glass.
11. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein the trim element is bent.
12. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein the trim element is made of a coated glass.
13. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein the trim element comprises flat and curved parts.
14. A trim element according to claim 1, wherein the trim element has a thickness between 0.2 to 6 mm.
15. A vehicle comprising a trim element according to claim 1.

For example, the trim element provided as an armrest cover or doors handles contours may be different from the door panels or trim element of the dashboard, back of seats . . . . For example, the trim used as an armrest cover may be made of colored glass and the trim provided as a door panel or back seats may be a touch panel wherein some functionalities are provided.
