DETAILED DESCRIPTION
(12) The embodiments herein and the various features and advantageous details thereof are explained more fully with reference to the non-limiting embodiments that are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and detailed in the following description. Descriptions of well-known components and processing techniques are omitted so as to not unnecessarily obscure the embodiments herein. The examples used herein are intended merely to facilitate an understanding of ways in which the embodiments herein may be practiced and to further enable those of skill in the art to practice the embodiments herein. Accordingly, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein.
(13) The enclosed space includes: a ceiling; a base structure; a plurality of walls, wherein at least one of the walls comprises an opening to allow access to said enclosed space; at least one sliding door arranged to close the opening, wherein said sliding door comprises two parallel glass panels; a controller, an input air fan equipped with an air filter, and an air outlet equipped with a flow meter configured to provide flow information to said controller. The controller is configured to control the input air fan based on the flow information from the flow meter. The height and inclination of the base structure are arranged to be adjustable. The input air fan and the output air pipe are preferably mounted on the ceiling.
(14) The adjustable height and inclination of the enclosed space makes the installation of the enclosed space easy also at uneven surfaces.
(15) According to an embodiment, the enclosed space further comprises a sensor configured to provide presence information to said controller, and said controller is configured to control said light source based on the presence information from said sensor. According to another embodiment, the enclosed space comprises a light source configured to emit light alternately in the visible range and in a dedicated cleaning range.
(16) The light source thus provides illumination into the space. The light source is also configured to emit light in a dedicated cleaning range. Such dedicated cleaning range light is used to kill the germs inside the enclosed space. In an embodiment, the light source emits ultraviolet or blue light to kill the germs inside the enclosed space and to make the space hygienic. The light source may be installed in any of the walls of the space, or on the ceiling. The enclosed space may also comprise more than one light sources, which may emit light at similar or different wavelengths. In an embodiment the light source may be configured to emit light alternately in the visible range and in the dedicated cleaning range.
(17) The flow meter can be used to monitor that the enclosed space is substantially air tight. Indeed, if the amount of air flowing out does not correlated with the amount of air flowing in there might be a problem with the enclosed space (such as door partially being open or a problem with seals etc. of the space).
(18) In an embodiment, the opening to allow access to the enclosed space may include a door with a handle. In another embodiment, the door may be a sliding door configured to run between an upper track and a lower track with the help of one or more rollers. In another embodiment, the lower track may include an H-profile that may further include a plurality of springs. According to another embodiment, the sliding door optionally includes two glass panels arranged to slide in opposite sides of a wall of the enclosed space, most typically of the wall comprising the opening to allow access to the space. In yet another embodiment, the sliding door comprises a low friction part arranged on a surface part of the sliding door.
(19) The plurality of springs produce a force which moves low friction part downwards. The plurality of springs are selected from the springs with spring constants having sufficient force to keep the door up, but to allow the door also to be horizontal with respect to the ground. The plurality of springs keep the low friction part in contact with the lower track when the door is slid.
(20) According to another aspect of the present disclosure, the sliding door further comprises a stopper to stop the sliding door, a protrusion, a rubber part to support the protrusion, and a plurality of brushes arranged to prevent air flow. The protrusion forms part of a seal arrangement to prevent air leakage from the enclosed space.
(21) The protrusion prevents air leakage from the enclosed space and maintains the pressure inside the space. The protrusion is a part of the seal arrangement to limit the amount of air flowing out from the space when the door is closed. In an embodiment, the low friction part may run in the protrusion of the lower track. The base structure comprises a first profile, a second profile, and one or more bolts for arranging a tilting angle between the first profile and the second profile. In an embodiment, the second profile is arrangeable to be in contact with the ground and is an integral part of the floor of the enclosed space. Tilting of the wall element is achieved when the user turns the tilt adjusting bolt. When installing the space, the second profile is first mounted/arranged against the uneven surface. In present embodiment, the surface may be tilted with respect to the horizontal. The first bolt and the second bolt are adjusted to make the first profile horizontal.
(22) When a sensor is used, it may optionally be selected from a group of a motion sensor, a CO.sub.2 sensor, a light sensor, a temperature sensor and a pressure sensor. The motion sensor is configured to detect the presence of a user inside the enclosed space. The CO.sub.2 sensor is configured to detect the carbon-dioxide level inside the enclosed space. The temperature sensor is configured to detect the temperature inside the enclosed space. The pressure sensor is configured to detect the pressure inside and outside the enclosed space. The enclosed space may also comprise any combination of these sensors, such as two, three, four or five of the sensors, freely chosen.
(23) In an embodiment, the controller may turn the visible light on when the user enters the enclosed space. The controller is configured to limit usage of the dedicated wavelengths if there is a person inside the space. The controller may also control the light source to emit light in the dedicated cleaning range when the user leaves the enclosed space to kill the germs. The controller may further control the input air fan to bring fresh air inside the enclosed space, i.e. to “flush” the space with air to refresh the space after the usage.
(24) A typical facility according to the present description comprises a space with a plurality of walls, a sliding door, a controller, a sensor and a light source. At least one of the walls includes an opening (closable with the sliding door) for accessing the enclosed space. The door includes two parallel glass panels slidable on opposite sides of the front wall of the space. The sliding door encloses a low friction part with springs and moves in vertical direction when a user slides the door. The height and inclination of the base structure with the help of tilt adjustment bolts.
(25) An input air fan is coupled to the ceiling of the space and includes an air filter. The ceiling of the space further includes an air outlet with a flow meter configured to provide flow information to the controller. The sensor provides presence information of the user to the controller. The light source emits light alternately in the visible range and in the dedicated cleaning range depending upon the presence of the user inside the space.
(26) In an embodiment the dedicated cleaning range can be blue light (450-495 nm). It is also possible to use more than one dedicated cleaning range, in which case a second range could be for example ultra violet light (380-450 nm).
(27) The foregoing description of the specific embodiments will so fully reveal the general nature of the embodiments herein that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily modify and/or adapt for various applications such specific embodiments without departing from the generic concept, and, therefore, such adaptations and modifications should and are intended to be comprehended within the meaning and range of equivalents of the disclosed embodiments. It is to be understood that the phraseology or terminology employed herein is for the purpose of description and not of limitation. Therefore, while the embodiments herein have been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the embodiments herein can be practiced with modification within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
