DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0032] The aforementioned illustrations and following detailed descriptions are exemplary for the purpose of further explaining the scope of the instant disclosure. Other objectives and advantages related to the instant disclosure will be illustrated in the subsequent descriptions and appended drawings.
[0033] It should be noted that, although the terms first, second, third, etc. are used to described different components in the following text, these components are not limited by the terms. The terms are used merely for the purpose of distinguishing the components from each other. In addition, the term or used in the text hereinafter may refer to any one of the listed situations or all the possible combinations thereof.
[0034] Please refer to FIG. 9, which shows a perspective view of the kerchief according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure. The instant disclosure provides a kerchief Q that is made of an elastic fabric. Depending on how the kerchief Q is worn, the kerchief Q serves as a cap, a scarf, a mask, or a hair band. Specifically, the kerchief Q is made by sewing the edges of a main body 1 (e.g. an elastic fabric) together in a specific manner. However, the instant disclosure is not limited to this. The process of manufacturing the kerchief Q according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure is described in detail below so as to specifically explain the structural features of the kerchief Q according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure.
[0035] Please refer to FIG. 1, which shows a perspective view of a kerchief according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure. The process of manufacturing the kerchief Q according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure includes a step 1: proving an elastic main body 1. Specifically, the main body 1 can be an elastic fabric, wherein the main body 1 includes a first side 11, a second side 12 corresponding to the first side 11. In addition, the main body 1 further includes a first surface 13 and a second surface 14 corresponding to the first surface 13. Next, please refer to FIG. 2, which shows a perspective view of the tubular body of the kerchief according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure. The process of manufacturing the kerchief Q according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure further includes a step 2: connecting the first side 11 and the second side 12. Specifically, the first side 11 and the second side 12 of the main body 1 can be sewn together using a sewing machine in such a manner that the main body 1 forms a tubular body 1. This way, the tubular body 1 can have a first opening end S, a second opening end S2 corresponding to the first opening end S1, and an enclosed space S is encircled by the main body 1. In addition, the first surface 13 and the second surface 14 of the main body 1 form the inner surface and the outer surface of the tubular body 1 respectively.
[0036] It is noted that the tubular body 1 formed by step 2 can also be formed by other methods. The instant disclosure is not limited to this. For instance, the tubular body 1 can be integrally knitted using a knitting machine. It is worth mentioning that prior art multi-functional kerchiefs, e.g. the aforementioned Chinese patent CN 202218626, have structures similar to the structure shown in FIG. 2.
[0037] Please refer to FIG. 3, which shows a perspective view of the kerchief according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure. The method of manufacturing the kerchief Q characterized by being able to provide different kerchief wrapping styles is furthered explained below. First, the tubular body 1 is laid flat to form a quadrilateral shape. Preferably, the tubular body 1 is laid flat to form a rectangular shape. The laid flat tubular body 1 includes a first corner point 15, a second corner point 16 corresponding to the first corner point 15, a third corner point 17, and a fourth corner point 18 corresponding to the third corner point 17. Specifically, the first corner point 15 and the second corner point 16 are located at or near the first opening end S1, and the first corner point 15 and the second corner point 16 are opposite to each other. In other words, the fabric section between the first corner point 15 and the third corner point 17 is flat, and the fabric section between the second corner point 16 and the fourth corner point 18 is flat.
[0038] Please refer to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, in which FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of the kerchief folded along a fold line according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure, and FIG. 5 shows a top view of the kerchief folded along a fold line according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure. The process of manufacturing the kerchief Q according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure further includes a step 3: folding the tubular body 1 along a fold line T1 or a fold line T2 as shown in FIG. 3. Specifically, the fold line T1 is the diagonal of the aforementioned quadrilateral joining the second corner point 16 and the third corner point 17. FIG. 4 shows the kerchief Q after the tubular body 1 is folded along the fold line T1. It should be noted that the tubular body 1 can also be folded along the fold line T2, that is to say, the instant disclosure is not limited by the position of the fold line as long as the kerchief is folded such that the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 are offset with respect to each other.
[0039] Please refer to FIG. 6, which shows a lateral view of the kerchief with the first corner point and the fourth corner point coinciding according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure. The process of manufacturing the kerchief Q according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure further includes a step 4: pulling the first corner point 15 and the fourth corner point 18 together. Specifically, the maker of the kerchief Q can pull the first corner point 15 and the fourth corner point 18 together, and pull the second corner point 16 and the third corner point 16 together. Next, please refer to FIG. 7, which shows a top view of the kerchief with the first opening end and the second opening end being sewn together according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure. The process of manufacturing the kerchief Q according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure further includes a step 5: connecting the edge of the first opening end S1 and the edge the second opening end S2. Specifically, after pulling the first corner point 15 and the fourth corner point 18 together, and pulling the second corner point 16 and the third corner point 17 together, the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 are sewn along the edges of the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 such that a suture E is formed as shown in FIG. 8. Since the first surface 13 and the second surface 14 may have different patterns, or since the sewn together edges of the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 may have inferior appearance due the stiches, a section F of the edges can be left unsewn when sewing the edges of the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 so that the first surface 13 can be turned inside out through the section F during the rest of the manufacturing process.
[0040] Via step 4 and step 5, the first corner point 15 coincides with the fourth corner point 18, and the second corner point 16 coincides with the third corner point 17, and the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 are sewn together.
[0041] Furthermore, it should be noted that step 3, in which the tubular body 1 is laid flat and the kerchief is folded, can be replaced by a step of holding the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 respectively and twisting the kerchief in such a manner that the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 rotate in different directions relative to each other.
[0042] Please refer to FIG. 8, which shows a perspective view of the kerchief being turned inside out according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure. The process of manufacturing the kerchief Q according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure further includes a step 6: pulling the first surface 13 inside out through the section F that was left unsewn. This way, the first surface 13 that was located inside the kerchief Q is pulled to the outside, and the second surface 14 that was located facing the outside is turned to face the inside of the kerchief Q. Moreover, a first opening portion M1 and a second opening portion M2 communicating with the first opening portion M1 are formed after step 5, in which the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 are sewn together, is performed. Furthermore, via step 5, the single-layer tubular body 1 forms a double-layer structure. That is to say, the kerchief Q includes a first structural layer 1A and a second structural layer 1B connected to the first structural layer 1A.
[0043] Please refer to FIG. 9 to FIG. 11. FIG. 9 is a front view of the kerchief according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure, FIG. 10 is a perspective view of the kerchief according to one embodiment of the instant disclosure, and FIG. 11 is a sectional view of FIG. 10 taken along line XI-XI. The kerchief Q made through the aforementioned steps includes the first structural layer 1A, the second structural layer 1B, the first opening portion M1, and the second opening portion M2. The kerchief Q surrounds a wrapping space M through which the users of the kerchief Q can wrap the kerchief Q around the head or the neck.
[0044] More specifically, the first structural layer 1A encloses the wrapping space M, the second structural layer 1B being connected to the first structural layer 1A, the first structural layer 1A and the second structural layer 1B being layered together in such a manner that the second structural layer 1B encloses the first structural layer 1A and the wrapping space M at the same time. Furthermore, the first opening portion M1 communicates with the wrapping space M, the second opening portion M2 communicating with the wrapping space M, the first opening portion M1 and the second opening portion M2 communicating with each other through the wrapping space M.
[0045] It is noted that, since the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 are connected to each other in an offset manner during the process of aforementioned steps, the size of the first opening portion M1 is larger than the size of the second opening portion M2. Furthermore, the mutually offset and sewn together first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 form the first opening portion M1. In addition, since the first opening end S1 and the second opening end S2 are mutually offset, the second opening portion M2 includes a twist structure.
[0046] It is noted that a gap G exists between the first structural layer 1A and the second structural layer 1B. Moreover, the elastic main body 1 that consists of the first structural layer 1 and the second structural layer 2 is an elastic fabric or a flexible material such that the kerchief Q is suitable to different users. This way, the kerchief Q can be wrapped fixedly around a user's head.
[0047] Please refer to FIG. 12 to FIG. 16, which show a user H wearing the kerchief Q according the instant embodiment in different ways. In FIG. 12 and FIG. 13, the kerchief Q is used as a head band, and in FIG. 14 and FIG. 15, the kerchief Q is used as a cap. Furthermore, the kerchief Q can serve as a scarf as shown in FIG. 16. However, it should be noted that the way of using the kerchief Q according to the instant embodiment is not limited to the above description. For instance, the user H can use the kerchief Q as a head mask or a nose mask.
[0048] In summary, the instant disclosure is advantageous in that, with the technical features that the first opening portion M1 has a size larger than that of the second opening portion M2, and that the second opening portion M2 includes a twist structure, the kerchief Q provides users with different kerchief wrapping styles.
[0049] The descriptions illustrated supra set forth simply the preferred embodiments of the present invention; however, the characteristics of the instant disclosure are by no means restricted thereto. All changes, alterations, or modifications conveniently considered by those skilled in the art are deemed to be encompassed within the scope of the instant disclosure delineated by the following claims.
