Abstract
A multipurpose planting hand tool includes a handle provided for a user to hold, and a hook member fixed into the handle by a root portion of a rod body and extended from the front of the handle to a distance and bent into an arc to form a hook-shaped hand tool portion. A flat deformation occurs at a position where the hook member is bent into the hand tool portion, and sawteeth are formed at an inner curved edge. Both sides of an outer curved edge are extended upwardly and focused into a small arc to form a blade-like portion, and its front is tapered to form a sharp tip. The sawteeth, the blade-like portion and the sharp tip are provided to facilitate the work of collecting and removing weeds and fallen leaves after the operations of loosening soil, weeding, sweeping leaves and removing weeds.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0029] The technical characteristics, contents, advantages and effects of the present invention will be apparent with the detailed description of a preferred embodiment accompanied with related drawings as follows.
[0030] With reference to
[0031] When the hand tool 1 is used, the user preferably squats at a low position and holds the handle 10 by a palm, so that the hand tool portion 22 of the hook member 20 is extended towards the front of the user's body, and the hook member 20 may be used for the collection and removal operation after the operations of loosening the soil, weeding, sweeping leaves and removing weeds. In the hand tool portion 22 of the hook member 20 of the hand tool 1, the plurality of sawteeth 222, the blade-like portion 223 and the sharp tip 224 are provided for the collecting and removing operations after the operation or alternating operations of loosening the soil, weeding, sweeping fallen leaves, and removing weeds. During a practical application of the hand tool 1, the sequence of using the plurality of sawteeth 222, the blade-like portion 223 and the sharp tip 224 is not limited. The trial run of using the hand tool in a planting site of the inventor of the present invention shows excellent effects before the patent application of the present invention is filed.
[0032] In general, the work in a planting site includes the collecting and removing operations after the operations of just loosening soil, loosening soil and weeding, just weeding and sweeping fallen leaves and removing weeds, wherein the operations of just loosening soil, loosening soil and weeding are front-end operations as required by the conditions of the planting site, and the collecting operations of sweeping fallen leaves and removing weeds is a rear-end operation. When just loosening soil or loosening soil and weeding takes place, the user may hold the handle 10 to insert the sharp tip 224 of the hand tool portion 22 into the soil slantingly as shown in
[0033] While pulling and loosening the soil, the portion of the sawteeth 222 increases the applied force by the movement of hooking weed roots in order to uproot the weeds and achieve both effects of loosening the soil and weeding. With reference to
[0034] In the first preferred embodiment, a hand tool 1 comprises a handle 10 and a hook member 20, wherein the hand tool 1 is a hand tool with a short handle for planting. To achieve the multipurpose effect, the present invention adopts various structures and using methods for the hand tool portion 22 of the hook member 20. With the same structure, principle and using effect, a long handle may also be used instead to provide the multipurpose effect of the present invention.
[0035] With reference to
[0036] With reference to
[0037] The use of the hand tool 3 of the second preferred embodiment and the hand tool 6 of the third preferred embodiment of the present invention may be in a short handle mode or a long handle mode. If the hand tool 3, 6 adopts a short handle mode, the hand tool 3 will release the original screw connection between the outer screw 41 of the long handle 40 and the inner thread slot 31 of the handle 30, so that the long handle 40 and the handle 30 are separated completely and also will release the original screw connection between the inner thread slot 71 of the long handle 70 and the outer screw 61 of the handle 60, so that the long handle 70 and the handle 60 are separately completely. As shown in
[0038] If the hand tool 3, 6 adopts the long handle mode, then the hand tool 3 will resume the original screw connection between the outer screw 41 of the long handle 40 and the inner thread slot 31 of the handle 30, and the user may hold the long handle 40 to link the handle 30 and the hook member 50 for the operation. The hand tool 6 will resume the original screw connection between the inner thread slot 71 of the long handle 70 and the outer screw 61 of the handle 60, and the user may hold the long handle 70 to link the handle 60 and the hook member 80 for the operation.
[0039] If the hand tool 3, 6 adopts the long handle mode, the user just simply holds an appropriate position of the long handle 40, 70 by a palm to link the handle 30, 60 to extend forward, so that the hook member 50, 80 is extended further towards the user's body, and the hand tool portion 52, 82 of the hook member 50, 80 can be used for the collecting and removing operations after the operations of weeding, sweeping fallen leaves and removing weeds in order to loosen the soil at a farther position or a lush position. In
[0040] Above, regardless of the hand tool 1 or the hand tool 3, 6, the hook member 20, 50, 50 are formed by the rod body 21, 51, 81 extending forward from the front end of the handle 10, 30, 60 to a distance and bending into an arc to form the hook-shaped hand tool portion 22, 52, 82. As shown in
[0041] In view of the description above, the present invention has the following major advantageous feature. In the hand tool, a hook member is extended forward from the front of the handle, and the hook member is fixed into the interior of the handle by a root portion of a rod body, and then to a distance and then bent into an arc to form a hook-shaped hand tool portion, and the hook member has a flat deformation at the position where the bending starts to form the hand tool portion, and a plurality of sawteeth formed at an inner edge, and both sides of the outer arc are bent upwardly and focused into a small arc to form a blade-like portion, and the front being tapered into a sharp tip. The hand tool of the present invention includes the plurality of sawteeth of the hand tool portion, the blade-like portion and the sharp tip to provide a multipurpose planting hand tool particularly suitable for the operation of collecting fallen leaves and removing weeds after the operations of loosening soil, weeding, sweeping fallen leaves and removing weeds.
[0042] In summation of the above description, the present invention herein enhances the performance than the conventional structure and further complies with the patent application requirements and is submitted for patent application. While the invention has been described by means of specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims.
