    Abstract

    A portable multi-purpose cutlery kit to assist a user is disclosed. The cutlery kit comprises a pair of chopsticks and a spoon member fixedly attached to a support section, wherein the support section is configured to releasably engage one or more fingers of a user to use the cutlery kit simultaneously. The pair of chopsticks are configured to conformingly fit a thumb and an index finger of the user and spoon member is made to conformingly fit a middle finger of the user. The cutlery kit further comprises a plurality of holes on the chopsticks and the spoon configured to receive water for cleaning the kit.

    Claims

    1. A portable multi-purpose cutlery kit comprising: a pair of chopsticks and a spoon member fixedly attached to a support section, wherein the support section is configured to releasably engage one or more fingers of a user to use the cutlery kit simultaneously.

    2. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, wherein the pair of chopsticks are configured to conformingly fit a thumb and an index finger of the user via the support section.

    3. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, wherein the spoon member is made to conformingly fit a middle finger of the user via the support section.

    4. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, wherein the support section is a coupling member configured to hold the chopsticks and the spoon member.

    5. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, wherein the support section is made in a plurality of sizes to adaptively fit the various body proportions of the fingers of the user.

    6. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, wherein the configuration of the cutlery kit allows the user to securely hold a cup while the chopsticks and the spoon are engaged onto the fingers.

    7. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, further comprising a plurality of orifices configured to receive water for cleaning the cutlery kit.

    8. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, wherein the chopsticks and the spoon member are made from one of a plastic, a wood, a bamboo and a steel.

    9. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, wherein the support member is made from one of a plastic, a wood and a cardboard material.

    10. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, further comprising a silicon coating on the surface of the cutlery kit for improved holding capability.

    11. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, further comprising a gripping member fixedly attached to the support section to assist the user in securely fasten the cutlery kit to the fingers of the user.

    12. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit of claim 1, further comprising a brace member fixedly attached to the confronting ends of the chopsticks and the support section to provide structural strength to the cutlery kit.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DIFFERENT EMBODIMENTS

    [0011] The present invention is related to a portable multi-purpose cutlery kit 100 to assist a user to conveniently pick and eat their food.

    [0012] According to an embodiment as shown in FIG. 1, which illustrates a user wearing a portable multi-purpose cutlery kit 100 to conveniently pick and eat the food. The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit 100 comprises a pair of chopsticks 102 and a spoon member 104 fixedly attached to a support section 106, wherein the support section 106 is configured to releasably engage one or more fingers of a user to use the cutlery kit 100 simultaneously to pick their food. As shown in FIG. 1, the pair of chopsticks 102 are configured to conformingly fit a thumb 108 and an index finger 110 of the user and the spoon member 104 is made to conformingly fit a middle finger 112 of the user via the respective support sections 106. The support section 106 is generally rectangular in cross-section and made to conformingly fit the fingers of the user. However, the support section 106 is made in a plurality of sizes to adaptively fit the various body proportions of the fingers of the user and therefore anyone can easily slip on the cutlery kit 100 and start maneuvering the chopsticks 102 and the spoon member 104 while eating their food.

The configuration of the cutlery kit 100 allows the user to securely hold a cup while the chopsticks 102 and the spoon 104 are engaged onto the fingers. The support section 106 is a coupling member configured to hold the chopsticks 102 and the spoon member 104. Further, a silicon coating is provided on the surface of the cutlery kit 100 for improved holding capability. So the user can easily slip on the cutlery kit 100 onto their fingers and maneuver to pick their food and simultaneously they can lift the cup to drink water or other beverages. The chopsticks 102 and the spoon member 104 are made from one of a plastic, a wood, a bamboo and a steel. The support member 106 is made from one of a plastic, a wood and a cardboard material. In an embodiment as shown in FIG. 2, the portable multi-purpose cutlery kit 100 comprises a gripping member 118 fixedly attached to the support section 106 to assist the user in securely fasten the cutlery kit 100 to the fingers of the user. This allows the user to easily position, hold, and grip the cutlery kit 100 on the fingers of the user.

    [0014] In additional embodiments as shown in FIG. 1, the portable multi-purpose cutlery kit 100 comprises a plurality of orifices 114 configured to receive water for cleaning the cutlery kit 100. So user can remove and easily clean the cutlery kit 100 in quick and convenient manner. The cutlery kit 100 is lightweight and portable and the user can easily carry the cutlery kit 100 for extended use. As the cutlery kit 100 comprises both the chopsticks 102 and the spoon member 104, there is no need for the user to put down the chopsticks 102 or the spoon member 104 and they can use them simultaneously to pick their food conveniently.

The user can easily slip on the cutlery device 100 on their fingers in such a way that the chopsticks 102 are slidably engaged to the thumb 108 and the index finger 110 via the support section 106 and the spoon member 104 is slidably engaged to the middle finger 112 via the support section 106. Once the cutlery kit 100 is worn by the user, he can just simultaneously maneuver the chopsticks 102 to pick up the food and the spoon 104 for soup or other liquid food to selectively use at the same time and the configuration of the cutlery kit 100 allows him to lift and hold the cup for drinking water or beverages. After usage, the user can easily remove the cutlery kit 100 and clean the chopsticks 102 and the spoon 104 via the orifices 114 provided in the cutlery kit 100.

In a different embodiment as shown in FIG. 3, the support section of the cutlery kit carrying the spoon member adaptively engaging the middle finger of the user is disclosed. The support section 106 for the spoon member 104 is configured to have different shape and dimensions to adaptively receive the middle finger 112 of any user. The end sections of the support section 106 is provided with tipped sections 116 comprising a plurality of adjustable spots to receive and accommodate varying thickness of the middle finger 112.

    [0017] The portable multi-purpose cutlery kit 100, according to the present invention, primarily allows the user to make use of both the chopsticks 102 and the spoon member 104 at the same time without looking for additional utensils while eating their food. Further, the cutlery kit 100 does not allow the user to put down either the chopsticks 102 or the spoon member 104. The user-friendly configuration of the cutlery kit 100 also allows the user to lift the cup for drinking water or other beverages. The cutlery kit 100 is easy to slip on the fingers of the user and in the same way, it can be taken off after usage. With the help of orifices 114, the user can easily wash the cutlery kit 100 for further use.
