Abstract
A rotary disc structure of a polishing machine includes a disc, a flat section formed on the disc, at least one slope section formed on the disc and located at an outer side of the flat section, at least one coupling section provided on the flat section or the slope section, and a coupling member provided on a side of the disc that is distant from the coupling section. As such, the coupling section can be coupled to a cleansing member, such as sponge. The disc can be coupled, by means of the coupling member, to an electric motor. A user may operate the electric motor to rotate the cleansing member for polishing or waxing an automobile body. The disc is provided with a unique design in which an outer side of the flat section is folded to form the slope section to conduct polishing or waxing of the automobile.
Claims
1. A rotary disc of a polishing machine, comprising: a disc; a flat section formed on the disc; at least one slope section formed on the disc and located on an outer side of the flat section; at least one coupling section provided on the flat section to selectively couple with at least one cleansing member; and a coupling member provided on a side of the disc that is distant from the coupling section.
2. The rotary disc of the polishing machine according to claim 1, wherein the coupling member is formed with a through-hole section.
3. The rotary disc of the polishing machine according to claim 2, wherein the through-hole section is formed with at least one threaded section.
4. The rotary disc of the polishing machine according to claim 2, wherein the coupling member is formed, one a side thereof that is distant from the through-hole section, with at least one fixing section.
5. The rotary disc of the polishing machine according to claim 1, wherein the cleansing member comprises sponge.
6. A rotary disc of a polishing machine, comprising: a disc; a flat section formed on the disc; at least one slope section formed on the disc and located on an outer side of the flat section; at least one coupling section provided on the slope section to selectively couple with at least one cleansing member; and a coupling member provided on a side of the disc that is distant from the coupling section.
7. The rotary disc of the polishing machine according to claim 6, wherein the coupling member is formed with a through-hole section.
8. The rotary disc of the polishing machine according to claim 7, wherein the through-hole section is formed with at least one threaded section.
9. The rotary disc of the polishing machine according to claim 7, wherein the coupling member is formed, one a side thereof that is distant from the through-hole section, with at least one fixing section.
10. The rotary disc of the polishing machine according to claim 6, wherein the cleansing member comprises sponge.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0018] The following descriptions are exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.
[0019] Referring to
[0020] a disc 1, wherein the disc 1 is configured with a flat section 11 and at least one slope section 12 located on an outer side of the flat section 11;
[0021] at least one coupling section 13 provided on the flat section 11, wherein the coupling section 13 comprises for example a piece of hook-and-loop fastener for coupling with at least one cleansing member 2, wherein the cleansing member 2 is for example a sponge; and
[0022] a coupling member 14 provided on a side of the disc 1 that is distant from the coupling section 13, wherein the coupling member 14 is formed with a through-hole section 141 and the through-hole section 141 is formed with at least one threaded section 142 for coupling with an electric motor 3, wherein the coupling member 14 is formed, on a side thereof that is distant from the through-hole section 141, with at least one fixing section 143.
[0023] Referring to
[0024] Further, the disc 1 is integrally formed as a unitary structure and thus possesses the advantages of efficient fabrication and cost saving.
[0025] Referring to
[0026] Referring to
[0027] Reference is now made to all the drawings. The present invention, when put into use, provides the following advantages over the prior art devices:
[0028] (1) The arrangement of the slope section 12 allows for easy and efficient polishing and waxing an automobile body 4 without causing undesired scratching or damage to the automobile body 4.
[0029] (2) The arrangement of the coupling section 13 allows a cleansing member 2, such as sponge, to be coupled to the disc 1.
[0030] (3) The arrangement of the coupling member 14 allows coupling of the disc 1 to an electric motor 3 to be conducted with an effect of being efficient and effort saving.
[0031] (4) The arrangement of the fixing section 143 allows the user to use a wrench to easily couple or remove the coupling member 14 to or from an electric motor 3.
[0032] It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.
[0033] While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claims, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the claims of the present invention.
