Abstract
Gloves designed for participation in active, primarily winter, sports activities, and which are intended to allow easy protection against ice and snow. They also protect the wrist area and, in addition, seal a glove for the most part or completely when the glove is not worn. The glove includes a hand region, with another region for the wrist attached thereto. The region for the wrist has an opening with an inner closure. A pullable cord is arranged to close the opening when pulled, this cord being in turn connected to a safety strap.
Claims
1. A glove which is particularly designed for participation in an active, primarily winter sports, activity and comprises: a hand region and a region for the wrist (8) directly attached thereto, said region of the wrist (8) extending in use to the closure of the glove in the direction of a user's elbow and having an opening with an inner closure (2), wherein a cord (3) is arranged in such a manner as to be capable of being pulled, which cord is in turn connected to a safety strap (5).
2. The glove according to claim 1 wherein, the cord (3) is arranged in the inner closure (2) or on the outside of the glove (1).
3. The glove according to claim 1 further comprising, a free end of the safety strap (5) being designed as a strap loop (9).
4. The glove according to claim 1 wherein, the strap loop (9) of the safety strap (5) is adjustable elastically or as to its extent.
5. The glove according to claim 1 further comprising, the cord (3) being guided movably in a cord casing (4).
6. The glove according to claim 1 further comprising, an adjustable loop (6) in the region of the carpus.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0020] Any reference in this specification via terminology such as one version, a version, a variant, and one variant, should be understood to mean that a particular feature, structure, or characteristic described in connection with the version or variant is included in at least one such version or variant according to the disclosure. The appearances of phrases in one/a version, in one/a variant, and the like in various places in the specification are not necessarily all referring to the same variant, or version; nor are separate or alternative versions or variants necessarily mutually exclusive of other possible versions or variants. Moreover, various features are described which may possibly be exhibited by some versions or variants. Similarly, various requirements may be described, and some may be requirements for some versions or variants, but not others. Furthermore, if the specification states a component or feature may, can, could, or might be included or have a characteristic, via such terminology it should be understood that such particular component or feature may possibly not always necessarily be required to be included or have the characteristic. Additionally, as used throughout this specification, the terms a, an, at least do not necessarily denote a limitation of quantity, but rather denote the presence of at least one of the referenced item, and any usage of the term a plurality denotes the presence of more than one referenced items.
[0021] An exemplary glove 1 according to the present disclosure in a version according to
[0022] According to the present disclosure, the region of the wrist 8 has an opening with an inner closure 2, wherein arranged in the inner closure 2 is a cord 3 that may be pulled or tightened. This drawcord 3 is guided movably in the region for the wrist 8 in a cord casing 4 extending through 360. In this version, the cord casing 4 is located inside the glove 1, for example as depicted, on the inner closure 2 (
[0023] The cord 3 is in turn connected to a safety strap 5, the free end of which is attached, in this example in the form of an elastic strap loop 9, to the wrist (
[0024] By pulling on the safety strap 5 and thus the cord 3 connected thereto, the cord casing 4 inside the glove 1 is pulled together, as depicted in
[0025] More particularly, it should be understood that the cord 3 is pulled up, that is to say out of the casing, when a glove 1 is not being worn, for example if a glove is dangling, or dropped to dangle, from a user's wrist while held by the safety strap 5. The cord casing 4 is gathered up or converged, as depicted in
[0026] The opening of the glove's inner closure 2 is, in this event, reduced to such an extent, as depicted in
[0027] Furthermore, as depicted in
[0028] In closing, it should be noted that the above description is intended to illustrate rather than limit the invention, and that readers skilled in the technological art shall be capable of designing alternative versions without departing from the protected scope of invention as set forth by the appended claims. As equivalent elements may be substituted for elements employed in claimed invention so as to obtain substantially the same results in substantially the same way, the protected scope of the present invention is defined by the appended claims, including known equivalents and unforeseeable equivalents at the time of filing of this application. Furthermore, in the following claims, the verb comprise and its conjugations do not exclude the presence of elements or steps other than those listed in any claim or the specification as a whole. The singular reference of an element does not necessarily exclude the plural reference of such elements and vice-versa. The mere fact that certain elements or steps may be recited in mutually different dependent claims does not necessarily indicate that a combination of these elements or steps cannot possibly be used to advantage.
