    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0036] In the following detailed description, reference is made to the accompanying drawings which form a part hereof, and in which is shown by way of illustration specific embodiments in which the disclosure may be practiced. These embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the disclosure, and it is to be understood that the embodiments may be combined, or that other embodiments may be utilized and that structural and logical changes may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure.

[0037] FIGS. 1-2 show an embodiment of the present breast milk thermos comprising a body 10; a screw lid 11 on top with a pour spout 12 and a handle 13. A lever 14 is configured to open the pour spout. One end 15 of the lever 14 is coupled to the valve 17 of the pour spout 12 and the other end 16 of the lever 14 is positioned above the handle 13.

[0038] In an example embodiment, the lever 14 may be a spring loaded lever such that the valve 17 of the pour spout 12 remains closed when it is in the position shown in FIG. 2A, 2B. The lever end 16 is pressed down to open the spout valve 17 to pour the milk into another container.

[0039] The present breast milk thermos can be made available in standard or decorative form which is further differentiated on the basis of its decorative design. For example, if it is used for girls, it is decorated with ladybug, butterfly, flowers, and kitty and like. Similarly, in case of boys it is decorated with puppy, dinosaur, elephant, and fish and like.

[0040] The breast milk thermos provides a top lid screw 11 configured to tightly fit with the body of thermos 10 and configured to provide a tight seal as shown in FIGS. 2B-3B, 6, 8 and 10 which can be easily removed and cleaned and prevent leakage.

[0041] In an example embodiment, the lid is configured to fit universally on all pitchers.

[0042] In another example embodiment, the lever and pour spout may be disposed on the lid.

[0043] In yet another example embodiment, the valve 17 may be actuated by the end 16 of the lever via a spring 21 attached to the wall of the thermos. In an example embodiment, such lever and spring mechanism may be attached to the thermos internally without letting the milk be in contact with the parts of the lever.

[0044] In an example embodiment, the valve 17 can be actuated externally by the lever 16 which is coupled to the valve 17 via a spring mechanism 32 attached to the lever 16 externally. Accordingly, the parts used in the actuation of the vale 17 may not be needed in contact with the liquid contained inside the thermos. While the valve 17 can be actuated externally, the parts used in actuation maybe covered by an external layer or cover so that the parts of the lever mechanism still remain inside the thermos and not exposed outside.

[0045] In a further example embodiment, the valve 17 can be actuated by a magnetic means coupled to the end of the lever 16.

[0046] FIG. 6 shows lid 9, spout 12, lever 16, handle 13 and thread 11 of the lid 9 of the thermos according another example embodiment. The thread 11 is configured to engage the lid 9 with the thermos to tightly close the lid after collecting milk in the thermos. In an example embodiment, the lever 16 is coupled to the valve of the spout such that when a user pushes the lever 16, the valve opens to allow the milk to come out from the spout. In an example embodiment, the lever mechanism is coupled to the valve externally such that the liquid inside the thermos does not contact with the lever to avoid any kind of contamination of the milk.

[0047] Advantageously, with the help of present device, the mother's milk is disposed in the thermos container before leaving the house and fed to the baby when desired. Also, it provides a convenient amount of head space which makes milk collection rapid and convenient. Furthermore, one can simply pour the milk from the thermos by one hand using the level mechanism and it does not require any heating.

[0048] The appealing features of the breast milk storage thermos are its convenient design, ease of use and practicality. This device is a valuable accessory for many busy parents. This device allows parents the freedom of traveling or pursuing leisure activities with their babies with the assurance that they are able to keep warm formula or milk when they desire since the temperature of this accessory is maintained for several hours.
