BAG CADDY-CARRIER

Abstract

This compact (palm of hand size), lightweight utility device is designed to transport multiple plastic bags . . . 50 lbs. plus-capacity. Device measures (L: 5.5 inchW: 0.044 inchH: 1.44 inch), (Weighs: 2 ounces). Bags remain secured when sat down and while transporting.

Place both handles of each bag into one of the end cavities, balancing the weight on each side as you load; close both cavities with the slider feature after loading; prevents contents of all bags from spilling.

1. Claim for a compact, portable carrying device: (a) an efficient means of gathering loaded plastic grocery bags together for easy and comfortable transporting. (b) an inherent features that prevent bags from detaching from device while transporting or resting on horizontal surface. (c) an inherent feature that enables further comfort measures when transporting heavy loads, while keeping your hands free.

[0005] This device consists of a thin, light weight (only 2 ounces) elongated, rectangular plastic item with 2 cavities (A & B) on each end. The openings into each cavity (D & E) allow you to place both handles of a bag into either end cavity; thus suspended, the bags are locked into the cavity by the sliders that serve to open and close the cavity. Once closed, the bags will not spill their content while transporting or sitting down. The weight bearing capacity is is an amazing 50+ pounds . . . hence the comfort padding of rubber (F).
