Abstract
An ergonomic massage therapy apron that overcomes the discomfort caused to clients when using present massage therapy holsters and also prevents her uniform from being stained. The massage therapy apron comprises of an apron, the apron has a left, a right, a top, a bottom, a front and a back side. The left side of the apron is a strap that has a first hook and loop attachment means on the front of the apron that is adjacent to the end of the left side. The right side of the apron defines an apron body that runs from the right side of the apron toward the left side of the apron, the apron body has a height of at least 8 inches at the left side of the apron body and tapers as it goes toward the right side of the apron body. A first holsters is defined on the front side of the apron body and is adjacent to left side of the apron body. The right side of the apron has a hook and loop attachment means that is on the back of the apron that is adjacent to the right side of the apron. The apron is used to promote comfort to the patient being massaged and to prevent the dirtying of the therapist's uniform.
Claims
1. An ergonomic massage therapy apron that is worn on the hips of a therapist, the ergonomic massage therapy apron comprises of: an apron that has a left, a right, a top, a bottom, a front and a back side, the left side of the apron is a strap that has a first hook and loop attachment means on the front of the apron that is adjacent to the end of the left side, the right side of the apron defines an apron body that runs from the right side of the apron toward the left side of the apron, the apron body has a height of at least inches at the left side of the apron body and tapers as it goes toward the right side of the apron; a first holsters is defined on the front side of the apron body and is adjacent to left side of the apron body; and a hook and loop attachment means that is on the back of the apron that is adjacent to the right side of the apron.
2. The ergonomic massage therapy apron that is worn on the hips of a therapist of claim 1, further comprising of a second holster that is defined on the top of the apron body that is to the right of the first holster.
3. The ergonomic massage therapy apron that is worn on the hips of a therapist of claim 2, further comprising a third holster that is defined on the top of the apron body that is to the right of the second holster.
4. The ergonomic massage therapy apron that is worn on the hips of a therapist of claim 3, further comprising a pocket that is defined on the back side of the apron body.
5. The ergonomic massage therapy apron that is worn on the hips of a therapist of claim 1, wherein the apron body is made of a vinyl material.

[0017] In another embodiment of the present invention, a second holster 16 is defined on the top of the apron body 10A that is to the right of the first holster 14A-14B. The second holster 16 is designed to hold an aromatherapy bottle. The importance of the placement of the aromatherapy bottle on the second holster 16 is that it allows the therapist to perform aromatherapy without losing contact with the patient.
[0018] In a further embodiment of the present invention, a third holster 18 is defined on the top of the apron body 10A that is to the right of the second holster 16. The third holder 18 may be used to hold a pen or a similar device.

For example, the present invention can be described to switch the placement of the apron body, the holsters and the pocket so that the apron could be worn either on the left or the right side of the therapist. Accordingly, the scope should be determined not by the embodiments illustrated, but by the appended claims and their legal equivalents.
