    Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of Campsis plant named ‘HOCH128’ is disclosed, characterized by red flowers, and long internodes. Plants are vining produce new flowers and flower buds throughout Summer. The new variety is a Campsis, normally used for outdoor ornamental purposes.

    Claims

    1. A new and distinct cultivar of Campsis plant named ‘HOCH128’ as herein illustrated and described.

    Description

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS

    (1) The accompanying photograph in FIG. 1 illustrates a typical flowering plant of ‘HOCH128’ grown outdoors in Moshav Bitzaron, Israel at approximately 1 year of age. FIG. 2 illustrates a close-up view of flowers of the new variety. The photographs were taken using conventional techniques and although colors may appear different from actual colors due to light reflectance it is as accurate as possible by conventional photographic techniques.

    DETAILED BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION

    (2) In the following description, color references are made to The Royal Horticultural Society Colour Chart 2015 except where general terms of ordinary dictionary significance are used. The following observations and measurements describe ‘HOCH128’ plants grown outdoors during 2021, in Visalia, Calif. The growing temperature ranged from approximately 18° C. to 38° C. during the day and from approximately 5° C. to 10° C. during the night. General light conditions are normal sunlight and numerical values represent averages of typical plant types. Botanical classification: Campsis tagliabuana ‘HOCH128’.
