Abstract

A hair grooming device such as a comb or hair pick comprised of heated elements and beveled heat retardant guides extended from the reinforced structured base which is affixed on to the handle. The device is designed to heat a hair at different temperatures. The handle configured for being gripped by a user.

A hair pick comprising a heat element, heat protective guide, support base, handle, further comprising a temperature selector adapted to enable a user to selectively control the temperature; heat elements and protective guides each member extending parallel from the support base which is a fixed to the handle, A plurality of heat elements and protective guides alternately set at intervals; Support guide on lateral ends of the support base; Temperature selection adapted to support base area; Handle is curved for easy and secure handling;

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

[0014] The Hot Pic, FIG. 1 is a temperature controlled hair comb with heated prongs or elements, FIG. 9 using heat retardant plastic guards, FIGS. 4 and 5. The heated prongs or heating elements FIGS. 9 and 19 while heated come in contact with the hair. The guard or guide FIGS. 4 and 5 prevent the heated prong or element, FIG. 9 from coming into contact with the skin and scalp. The handle FIG. 7 is oblong shaped to allow grip for easy handling. The purpose of the Hot Pic is to apply low to moderate heat to kinky or curly hair. By applying low to moderate heat to hair, the hair will become wavy and softer.

This process is completed when the entire head of hair or desired portions of hair are completed detangled and retextured.
